****OFFICIAL Chiefs vs 49ers Super Bowl LVIII Game Thread****

Lombardi and Starr.

Noll and Bradshaw.

Walsh and Montana.

Johnson and Aikman.

Belichick and Brady.

Reid and Mahomes.

Today, the Kansas City Chiefs complete the greatest five-year run in NFL history by winning the third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, and the fourth in the franchise's glorious history.

Today, we become an undeniable dynasty.

As someone once said...let's do this shit.

I mean the game is there for the taking. Nothing the 49ers are doing is really anything special. If we can go out and play a decent half of football we can take this thing. It’s right goddamn there.

He was mad because they take him out on running plays a lot, it's a tell, the 49ers knew it was coming.

That grounding and horse collar was a little soft.

Also on that sack on Mahomes the body weight rule disappeared.

Even if we’re running, Kelce needs to be on the field.

He at least requires major attention.

Exactly this.

We had our feeling out period. Andy needs to attack this D that is weak for the taking. Put them on their heels.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Couple of pretty big calls for the Niners so far. Got away with a penalty on the TD play. Intentional grounding call pretty much killed a Chiefs drive, even though the CBS guys felt it was not a grounding play.

Just called grounding that wasn't grounding, and allowed a td with ineligible man downfield. No big deal right?

They said the elway thing like they were embarrassed about it, and it caught my attention. Why on earth would the NFL invite a soused, loser, cheating, spoiled, draft-dodging, drunken, glory-hogging cheater to the award ceremony?

And then I remembered that the opponent's coach as the son of the cheating head coach that the drunken draft-dodger played for, and that cheating head coach is in attendance. And then there's the connection of the opposing running back to the injury-faking wide receiver that the alcoholic cheater played for. Does the NFL have something up its sleeve?
Oh! Maybe the nfl winner is scripted and the original plan was 49ers over ravens, then fans noticed the superbowl log colors so they had to throw a curve in there...😀

You are a fool if you think Andy did not call plays in the first half

Refs have been bad but they've been bad all year. It's no excuse for anyone.

Good teams overcome it.
