She either went back to Philly or is in Chicago now. Pat is safe from that particular jock chaser.

Yes, Boston. I stand corrected.

And I'll be damned. I thought Hosmer gave her ass the boot a couple of years ago. He does have a pretty fat paycheck now, sooooo…….

It is so goddamn annoying hearing that Drew Lock is the next Patrick Mahomes. And Denver is all over him.

I hope they draft him and he turns out to be another Blaine Gabbert.

It’s a silly comparison. Jared Goff is a much better comparison, or Jay Cutler.

Lock can be a good NFL starter but will need to be developed well and probably needs to sit a year. He DOES have a special arm.

Watching Mizzou/Chiefs games this year really spoiled me for arm strength in a QB.

He has a good arm but I don’t think he has Mahomes’ playmaking magic. Very few QB’s have it.

Things you need in order to be Patrick Mahomes:

--****ing cannon. No, I don't mean a strong arm. I mean a ****ing cannon.

--Really really really good accuracy on intermediate throws. No, most NCAA QBs do not possess that kind of accuracy

--A photographic memory or at least an incredibly high IQ where you can learn information faster than your peers

--Arm talent from all throwing angles

--Competitive leadership that was ingrained into you since you were a toddler by your pro athlete father

Miss any one of those components, and I'm sorry, but you're not Patrick Mahomes. You can still be pretty good, but don't even ****ing try to compare yourself.

Mahomes has never before been a thing in the NFL. And to find the next one, we're going to have to raise a generation of kids who want to GROW UP to be Patrick Mahomes their entire lives.

As a Mizzou fan, I can tell you with confidence that Drew Lock is like Patrick Mahomes in the same way that Nathan Peterman is like Tom Brady.

I don't see any off-platform throws in Lock's highlight tape. All pocket throws where he steps into it with a ton of good protection from his OL. Looks like a statue back there. Doesn't seem very similar to Mahomes.
