I think it's gonna be pretty risky waiting until 64. There's going to be a run at some point and I can absolutely see most of the Wilson and Pearsall types off the board before we pick.

At the very least, a guy like Burton should be available at 64, and I'd take that all day. |

I was going to say I like Burton OK but not enough to be satisfied with him...but post the Holywood Brown signing I could live with this just fine, especially if I liked the LT we got in R1.

After us signing Hollywood, I could see us waiting until the 3rd to take a WR because in most years you can get the 16th WR taken. Here’s the total for how many WRs were taken in the first 3 rounds since 2020.

If you look at what potato did below, he’s got 18 in the first three rounds, which would be the most taken in the last 5 years of the draft. I don’t see any reason to take a wr with the 1st pick now. Somebody has to fall to the third round. He’s got 12 In The first two rounds and that’s a lot historically, so it’s very possible that only 10 WRs get taken in the first two rounds. There’s gonna be value with taking a wr in the 2nd and third rounds. I even like rice and McMillan in the 4th and wouldn’t be upset with either of those guys in the 4th.

Agreed but you still can get the 15th best wr prospect in the third. I’m not sure who falls but it could be Legette. It could be Walker. I’d be thrilled with either of those guys in the third. The risk is worth the reward for the athletic ability at that point.

Brenden Rice in the 4th? Man, it would be nice to get that guy.

Adding M Brown really set us up for success this year! He and Rice are really nice 2a and 2b guys next to Kelce, but they might be all pretty much even at this point in their careers. I still want weapons in the draft though, but now I'd probably be happy waiting a round or two. If we don't move up for Thomas Jr I think I like our traditional trade up in the 2nd, currently.
1st Thomas Jr Worthy 2nd Coleman Franklin Legette McConkey Burton Walker 3rd Polk Cowing Corley J Baker 4th Rice Jr Washington |

Love how Veach fills every hole before the draft!
I'd bet D Smith is signed if we move Sneed. |
