I'm not taking Rice in the 2nd or McCaffrey in the 3rd.

Well, we can agree on one part of your statement: Texas QBs are inaccurate. Ewers feet are a mess. I just saw the every snap on Worthy - Worthy certainly has some capability to take the top off the defense - look at him smoke McKinstry during the Alabama game - but still, 75% of his looks are targets at or near the LOS. AD Mitchell won that game for Texas by abusing Arnold - even if you look at his production, it is understated because Arnold held him from sure TDs at least twice. Both of these kids are gonna be fantastic in the NFL. I do think someone needs to chain Worthy to a Juggs machine tho. |

I'd worry if there wasn't anything down field to look at, but there is. I don't really have a dog in the fight, I like a bunch of these kids. Just depends on what the team is looking for. |

My wish list for a receiver, in order, if we choose to go that route in the first round -
A) Troy Franklin - I think Franklin is a superior MVS in nearly every metric and exactly what we need opposite of Rice. Just feels tailor made to be in this offense. B) Adonai Mitchell - Mitchell intrigues me. Not the burner Franklin is, and I'm not sure he's the type of guy Reid/Viotch are looking for, but his hands and route running ability can't be discounted. Would love to know his splits. 3) Xavier Worthy - his speed and game breaking ability are exactly what Reid seems drawn to. He's just so tiny, it gives me pause. *EDIT - he's taller than I thought he was, but still on the slim side. BONUS - Keon Coleman - he'd be strong in this offense alongside Kelce and Rice (but you can say that about a number of young receivers in the draft this year). |

With all the public Worthy/Chiefs stuff its starting to feel like smoke. Like the Chiefs will end up another direction.

The more I think about Coleman, the more I like him. I see him as getting those kelce targets in the long run in the red zone. He plays faster than he times. Many of These WRs really slow down to catch the ball and Coleman plays fast. His hands are comforting because we’ve seen our WRs drop balls that are slightly off target and Coleman is qb friendly. Imagine if we had a wr that Mahomes could actually trust to bail him out. Coleman is a highlight real of one handed catches. I see coleman like a bigger anquan bolden. Bolden ran a 4.71 40 but was so athletic that they let him play qb when the qb got injured and he showed great athleticism like Coleman does returning punts. How many 6’4” 215 lbs WRs do you see returning kicks and hurdling people? The guys a baller and if he falls bc of that 40, I hope we grab him. I think he’d be a great value around 50 if we could pull that off.

Walker could be an MVS replacement and might be available at 64. What’s the deal with Walker? Does he questionable hands? He can fly.

About 7% drop rate apparently so not terrible, not super sticky. The Senior Bowl was real bad but someone could get a steal with him. The tools are there.

I'd love to see him at 64. I ultimately think there will be 2-4 guys there that I really like. So I'm fine going any direction at all in the 1st and will be fairly content with getting our WR in the 2nd. I'd be holding my breath for those last 3-4 picks though because I do think it could get spooky in a hurry at the back of the 2nd.

I'm starting to wonder if Worthy will even be there at 32...I can see someone taking him a lot higher than a lot of people think.
