Ever since Sirianni's bloating at Chiefs fans, the Eagles have seemingly fallen apart

Remember this from Dick Sirianni?

The Eagles are 1-3 and lost 3 in a row since he did that while getting boat raced twice and topping it off by losing to Drew ****ing Lock in epic fashion. They went from the 1st seed to 5th seed.

They replaced their DC with Patriot trash and then got the Patriot trash result of letting Drew Lock drive down and score the game winning TD.

Now there's this...uh oh

I'd agree. Lucky for us there's no way they make it past both Det and Philly.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

OP posted this last season after the Eagles lost three straight games. Including those three, they went on to lose five of their last six and then got smashed by Tampa Bay in the Wild Card Round. They were indeed “falling apart”.

They’ve recovered this season but it doesn’t make this post any less true at the time.

All this is pre-injury:

1)Chubb
2)Barkley
3)McCaffery

At this point Chubb will probably never be the same and CMac is likely done as well. Barkley has had his share of injuries but it doesn't seem to have significantly sapped his ability.

They also lost to Tampa earlier this year. Not sure why, but it seems like the Bucs have their number. If I’m Philly that is the one team I do not want to see in the playoffs.

Barkley leads the league (by a significant margin, I believe) in yards before contact. With his injury history, it's only a matter of time. The Philly o-line is saving him right now.

Williams physicality and length actually plays okay against Brown, IMO.

A guy like St. Brown would worry more more than AJ. I think Williams can provide a credible effort against him. If we play the Lions, OTOH, we will have to move McDuffie into the slot to play against St. Brown and that leaves Williams (or Johnson or Nelson) against someone like Jameson Williams and that's a horror show waiting to happen.

The issue with the Eagles is Saquon out of the backfield. No idea how we'd handle that.

Howie Roseman has bailed Sirianni out yet again.hes the executive of the year

-hiring Vic Fangio
-signing Saquon Barkley
-signing Mekhi Becton and breaking out at G
-signing Zack Baun and his breaking out at LB
-stealing Quinyon Mitchell
-stealing Cooper DeJean

Howie remade that Philly defense and added their best offensive player for Sirianni

Chubb was the best runner of the three, but from an overall perspective I would take CMC and Barkley due to the receiving threat they are.

Yep. Tampa also beat the Lions this year after taking them to the wire in the playoffs last season.

I’m thinking there are a lot of squads at the top of the NFC who’d prefer not to see the Bucs in the playoffs just to be safe lol

The Bucs with Evans have a deceptively high ceiling.

Re: SB matchups.

Spags has an established pedigree at slowing down if not outright shutting down our league’s top runners, I take those odds 10/10 times over playing against Ben Johnson or LaFleur after they’ve had two weeks to plan out an attack on our secondary. Hell, without Watson I don’t even love how our secondary matches up against Jefferson, Hock & Addison.

#Eagles AJ Brown - High ankle mechanism. Severity unclear. Left but game was already over. Most WRs would miss at least 1 wk

#Eagles Jalen Hurts - Fracture in non-throwing hand. As long as he doesn't land hard on it, wouldn't expect major issues

#Eagles Saquon Barkley - Left but returned w/suspected hip muscle strain. Mildly increased re-injury risk. Likely ~full strength for Wk 16
