I have it as your default setting. I'll change it.

But I'll amend my statement.

Elite players are early round picks or highly paid. Early round being 1/2 rounders.

Maybe momentum for playoffs but I’d guess he rests or plays limited snaps this week and finishes with 9.5 total sacks.

Didn’t Justin Houston get like 5 against the Chargers in the last week of the season that year we missed the playoffs to fall just short of the record?

Assuming that it won't cause Tavia and Gracie to go to bed hungry at night, I'm rooting for Chris to play the first series and get a sack. We can then watch him buy drinks for the house, which won't be that expensive since it's a Chargers home game.

4. I remember the last play, or maybe the last couple of plays, we had Houston in coverage too.

1 would have gotten him the record. I remember being a little annoyed at the time. He probably had the quietest 20+ sack season of all time.

On another note, every time I specifically watched Chris Jones yesterday, he had a dedicated double team on him. That's got to be frustrating when you're half a sack from a million bucks.

I think his sack was the only time I saw him not being double-teamed. I guess there's a lesson to be learned there.

I’m seriously becoming more and more convinced that this is the last we’re seeing of him in a Chiefs jersey. God I hope I’m wrong.

His window is closing, and we need to be careful not to be too loyal at the sake of paying our up and coming studs and reloading in future drafts

I'd love it to be possible to keep Jones, Sneed, and Gay under the cap. And yet, improve the offense through FA and the draft. But, we FINALLY have that franchise QB we've bitched about for more than a decade on this perticular site. If having Mahomes contract means that we lose an occasional star, so be it.

At the same time though, we’ve drafted defense really well.

I would’ve been far more concerned about this a few years ago. Huge defensive draft investment the last few years.

I don't expect him to be a chief next year.
