Just every now and then Bolles doesn't let go when he should and gets called for holding, or someone gets him with a bull rush. That can get cleaned up. He doesn't get dominated on a down in and down out basis like Watson and Stephenson do sometimes. He can hold his own.

So, I guess the problem has been that Bolles doesn't yet know who his guy is

A guard is not going to change your entire team like a pass rusher, QB, shut down corner, RB or tackle.

It depends how good the other options are and what you need. Nelson is considered to be a pretty rare guard.

Give me the great guard over a solid tackle any day.

Too early to say. As long as Cle and Indy stay put Denver should be safe to stay where they are, but if they're serious about trading down Denver has to make a move.

If Denver does sign Cousins, and Saquon Barkley and Nelson are sitting there, I'd have a tough time passing on Barkley.

That would make their offense potentially really good. I don't think Cousins is elite by any means, and you'll pay out the nose for him, but if I was Denver I wouldn't waste any more prime years of their defenders or receivers on a rookie QB.

I hope Denver thinks this because Talib is about to hit the downward slope any year now, Ray is about as valuable as Dee Ford and Von won’t be in his prime for that much longer.

Ray is a much better player than Ford, he was just hurt this year. Shane Ray is an actual football player, Ford is just an athlete. Plus we still have Shaq Barrett.

Von will be a great player until his contract expires 5 years from now.

We'd still have Roby, Harris, and Simmons in the secondary, we'll be able to find another corner/safety next year if necessary.

Denver doesn't have a gaping hole at CB/FS/OLB, they do at G and a G like Nelson doesn't come around very often.

This line is said every ****ing time there is a weak talent pool in a given draft class and the best players in that draft class end up being interior OL.

In other words, guards like Nelson come around ALL THE ****ING TIME

Dee Ford has more career sacks than Barrett and Ray and he barely played his rookie year and missed most of this year
