Chiefs gotta do something with next year in consideration imo because they really need a WR now and they will really need some next season
Because the only receivers on the roster right now that will be able to play and under contract is Skyy Moore and Worthy Unless I'm missing something Rashee Rice - rookie contract, probably won't play to start the season Worthy - rookie deal Skyy Moore - rookie deal JuJu - 1 year deal Justin Watson - didn't he sign a 2 year deal last offseason? Mecole - 1 year deal right? Hollywood - 1 year deal We need WR this year and next year so making a big move might be a really good idea |

I think Calvin Ridley could also be a target for Veach.

Shut the **** up. Don't give me that kind of hope. ****ing Calvin Ridley in red-and-gold? This season? I would stop banging Womble's wife right now to make that happen. I mean it. No matter how much she cried and begged, no matter how much $$$ she threw at me, I'd stop right now. Well, after this one last time, I swear I would.

I’ve been pretty vocal about supporting improvements at WR, and depth at a couple other spots…but sone of these guys act like we are still stuck in the bottom half of the league when nothing could be further from the truth. |

But hopefully we can get Johnson so we don't have to make those kind of tradeoffs. |

I would be glad to see D-Rob come back. He had legit chemistry with Mahomes. If that type of connection is still there between those 2 guys, it would be nice to bring him back considering the WR injury situation in KC. |

The obvious answer is Tyreek. The Dolphins have not been throwing to him often enough (one catch for eight yards last game, WTF??), and he is not happy there. Trade multiple picks to get him back to KC.

Mahomes can make any receiver look good. He needs 2 new tackles, not any more WRs.

guys...everyone would love to have a juggernaut offense again. If we had Rice and Brown, nobody's worried in the least right now. To act like Veach did nothing and is wasting Mahomes' prime while we're seeking the three-peat is bullshit.
Now, I'm sure that Veach is in contact with several teams, and is looking to shore up the WR corps. I have zero doubt. But you also have to realize- EVERY team has flaws. ALL of them. KC is the only undefeated team, and has played a very tough schedule. NOBODY wants to help KC. The league is sick of our dominance. KC doesn't really have a first round pick. Everyone knows that will be a #30 or worse pick. It's an early second round value. Everyone knows that. KC is in the driver's seat for the bye. We start getting guys back in a month or so. We really just need to survive November. There are still big plays being left on the field. If Mahomes hits Worthy on that deep ball yesterday, would you not be much more optimistic? Ok, so, it's THERE, we're just not executing. That's different than 'these guys suck, trade everything for Tyreek and his massive salary and **** the cap for the next couple of seasons'. Three-peat would be awesome, but ten rings with Brady having to cover it in the booth would be sweeter. And I'm not writing off the three-peat, either. No, we're not desperate. We need to be better, and I'm sure Veach will do what he can to improve the squad-while not ****ing the future. |

Teams in the tank don’t care who they trade with other than of course the raiders. They care about the picks. No hitting worthy deep doesn’t change anything. Everyone with two eyes knows that our offense is making it work but there are obvious holes. And we can’t keep asking mahomes to play hero ball or Reid to throw all kinds of exotic formations to take everyone’s focus off our WRs. We will need to win games with even average contribution from our WRs at some point. Even if our WRs are ok we saw that we are one injury away from skyy Moore to playing lots of reps. Any acquisition that knocks him off the roster is a positive. We aren’t ****ing our future because we make one decently aggressive move and I don’t know where people are getting this. Yeah the kinds of proposals for tyreek look daunting. But the comp for Amari isn’t hurting the bills and beating their offer wouldn’t have hurt us. Yeah I think we take it seriously when the best qb in the game said he wasn’t having fun last year. When he starts the season off playing like he has ptsd. When he throws an INT every game and hasn’t thrown a td pass in back to back weeks. It’s not that hard. We have the worst wr corps in the league and it’s not even close. So bad that even with a learning curve any pickup is an upgrade. If youre worried about comp then make a play for Mvs AND Demarcus to at least give us depth. At the bare minimum. Just because the chiefs CAN win with an ugly offense doesn’t mean we should. |

They're not winning 10 rings. That's dumb.
Winning a 3rd in a row is a pretty massive deal. They've been so good at drafting and developing mid and later round picks, trading away a single higher pick isn't gonna blow up the future. |

What we know now is that kelce is here, our defense for right now is dominant , and mahomes is still in his prime, and Andy Reid is our head coach. We know we are in the drivers seat now and anything less than an attainable Super Bowl is going to sting a hell of a lot more than losing when we’re not the favorite. |
