Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Nice score..

Speaking of WWII historical pieces.

One of the finest inventions on this earth! She's a beauty........ I carried a 1911 all over Europe until they made us make the switch over to Sigs in the 80s.

Today? It's a Springfield Armory 1911, and a Range Officer (in 9mm).

Good find!!

Little update, I ordered one from Palmetto State, they called a couple days later saying they had just sold out and I was on a wait list. Told them to refund my money, which they did, and I ordered a different brand.

So as far as shooting goes, it is a blast to shoot, and very accurate so far. 20 inch heavy barrel, and was just shooting some 75 grain total metal jackets, from Federal. I had it shooting .5 MOA after about 20 or so rounds, and then I turned over to the 500 yard metal gong, and was ringing it nonstop. The round has such little recoil I was able to watch the round through the scope at longer distances. I was sending follow up shots as soon as the previous round hit the target, so I am very happy with it. Will be great for coyotes, and ground hogs.

I think I'll make this my Chiefs playoff gun.

If the Chiefs lose, I'll buy it to cheer myself up.

If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, I'll buy it to celebrate!

Genius!

I’ll be alive my friend, I’ve got the firepower to stop any criminal(s) that make the mistake of breaking into my home, but I actually don’t want to shoot anyone unless it’s absolutely necessary...

And you think that I want to shoot someone!?!?!? Jesus guy....I served in a combat unit in Vietnam in the A Shau Valley with the 101st Airborne.

And YOU think I "want" to shoot someone!?! I have taken lives - I want no part of that, ever again. But that being stated - I will NOT become a victim. If I have to shoot some asshole 5 times to take him down - that is what I will do.

My god............
