I’ve always believed that Matt knows people. I think he’s spot on here. Denver won’t draft a QB unless they absolutely have to IMO.

Elway doesn't want to draft a first round QB but he personally attended Josh Allen's and Sam Darnold's bowl game. And then requested to have Baker Mayfield on his team at the Senior Bowl.

Elway wants to get his QB position solved, once and for all.

And, it won't be any of those guys... it's smoke and mirrors, he's going to go after Cousins and if he can find a trading partner for #5 - pick up extra picks.

Maybe... they can sign Cousins, then make a trade with the Bills (they have 2 R1 and 2 R2)

Send #5 to Buffalo for R1 21 (or 22, KC's original pick) and R2 21 (53 overall) and something else to make up the gap. It could happen.

If you’ve already got that many picks, just pick the most talented player at 5.

If they invested $25M+ per year into Cousins you'd assume they wouldn't want to trade too far down and miss out on Nelson, McGlinchey, Williams, and Brown.

How much did the Broncos **** up taking Mongo? Really bad.





Robinson had to go against the Steelers, who led the league in sacks, and Ramczyk had to block the pass rusher who was 4th in sacks (Everson Griffin).

Bolles, who is 3 years older than both of these two, was the most penalized player in the AFC and gave up 2 sacks to Tanoh Kpassagnon in his last game.
