How strange is it that 28 points against a top ten defense is considered “shutdown”.

We never came close to even averaging 28ppg with Alex Smith. Ravens and Chargers have good defenses, and we are not healthy (offensive Guards, Watkins, and Ware all hurt). Boy oh boy have the expectations been RAISED

Not a bad thing, really ...

Until you begin to fantasize that you're bulletproof (which no team is). Counting on Mahomes to pull off some miracle, left-handed, no-look, laser beam, 4th and forever play in every game is absurd. Absurd and unfair.

I thought it would help the defense catch their breath and circle the wagons. Didn't work out that way though

Correct for the entire game.

Typically I belive team susally have 13 -14 possesions a game.

Chiefs played a different game last night. IDK why but they played ball control offense with all the screen plays. They only took a couple deep try’s In this game

OL was getting destroyed. Shwartz played one of his worst games as a Chief. I think the short week and OT the previous game played a role in all of this.
