Mayfield is also older than Mahomes, amazingly. I’m sure most people know this but it still blows my mind.

Skip Bayless is a choad. Guaran-****in-tee you that if Brady pulled off what Mahomes did on Sunday he would be bloviating and spewing all kinds of BS about how amazing Brady is. Instead Mahomes pulls off an epic performance and he has the audacity to say Jackson outplayed Mahomes? He is so full of shit it's unreal...His boss must have naked pictures of his wife or something.

The same people who would make that kind of comment are also the people that bash the Chiefs for having the worst defense in the league.

So Lamar had success against a horrible defense? Big deal. Every QB is having pretty good success on the Chiefs defense this year. Too bad Mahomes doesn’t get to pad his stats against his own defense. He did very well against a strong Ravens defense.

Serious question: If Cousins is worth 3 years $84 million guaranteed, what is Mahomes worth?

Depends on what he wants. Seems to me like Rodgers could have easily demanded more from the Packers than $33m per year after Cousins got $28m per year.

Yeah, but if you have 'it' none of it matters.

Rodgers took over from Favre, Brady took over from Bledsoe, Manning and Aikman took over from literally nothing.

Well, I'm not comparing them. I don't think anyone is in Mahomes' class.

BUT-I think Mayfield has 'IT' and is going to be a really good QB for a very long time. And I'm happy for Cleveland-they've suffered even worse than we have.

Also, unlike some people, I love his cocky attitude. He's hilarious.

I think the MVP question should come down to this...

1. Which team has a defense with a pulse?
2. What would each team's record be with an average QB?

The Saints have a much better defense and much better OL. In my opinion with an average QB, the Saints would still be a solid team. The Chiefs would have a losing record with an average QB because their defense is horrible and the OL is not very good either.
