Reid called 9 running plays in the second half. 9. NINE RUNNING PLAYS IN THE 2ND HALF. That is not Smith's fault. I know it sounds disgusting, but Smith played very well in that game. Well enough to win. He was 30 of 46 for 378 yards 4 TDs and NO picks.

I hate Smith but how can any intelligent football fan look at that game and blame it on anyone other than Andy Reid?

Against Tennessee we were up 21-3 at the half. At the end of the 3rd quarter we were up 21-10.

In the second half Reid called 5 running plays. 5. FIVE RUNNING PLAYS.

How can you blame anyone other than Reid for the Tennessee loss? 5 true running plays in the second half with an 18 point lead. I'm sorry, but that loss is completely on Andy Reid.

Yes, he is an offensive genius now that Mahomes is tearing up the league with his awesomeness. But that doesn't change the fact that Reid has mismanaged the clock and his timeouts his entire head coaching career.

Mahomes amazing play so far this year doesn't excuse the bad coaching Reid has done in the past. Fans are acting like he Reid has never made a mistake because he is helping Mahomes to an MVP season.

I will always hate the fact that Alex Smith was our QB, but I will always remember his prefessionalism in the way he helped Mahomes. I will always be grateful to Reid for being part of the brain trust that drafted Mahomes, but until he wipes away the crushing playoff losses he is responsible for, I will never be fully bought into his greatness.

We couldn’t run at all in the second half. Stuffed every time. We relied on Smith to move the chains a bit in the second half and he couldn’t do it.

Most of my family, I shit you not, are PATRIOT fans. In ****ing Kansas. You know how much I despise that? You think any of them were patriot fans in the 90's? NO! They were ****ing BUFFALO BILLS FANS!

I suffered. I earned this. I never acknowledge them as pats fans. I always ask them about their Bills. Pisses them off that people keep reminding them they're fairweather bitches.
**** you all, my fan pain is more than yours.

I remember being sad for days after the Super Bowl loss. I watched Lenny the cool and Otis Taylor win a Super Bowl. When I grew up and got some coin, I got season tickets during the Montana era. I thought it would happen.....

I now have no doubt that as long as Mahomes doesn't suffer a career ending injury or slip in the shower and kill himself, we are going to win a Super Bowl. Mahomes is the savior we have been waiting for.

The bold means that your fain pain is less than most here. You've seen KC in two SBs, winning one - most of us have been waiting our entire lives to see KC even make it there.

Runs for no gain still run more clock than an incomplete pass. A rushing attempt runs clock no matter what unless the ball carrier runs out of bounds.

Maybe we were down to the 3rf string RB against Indy, but we were up by 28 at one point in the game. And against Tennessee we had the league's leading rusher.

It is amazing that everyone is just applying revisionist history to make Reid out to be a flawless HC just because Mahomes is killing it and Reid is playing a big part in that. Who knew Mahomes could travel through time and rewrite the Andy Reid playoff coaching narrative.

We’ll see what Reid can do with an elite quarterback in the playoffs. Last time he had a top flight quarterback, they went to the Superbowl

You know, you really can't argue that Reid and Sutton aren't largely responsible for those losses.

But let me ask you, given the same situations, do you believe if Andy puts the ball is Mahomes' hands that those leads slip away?

The Indy and Titans loss each had several spots where one time-consuming drive for a score basically seals the game. Smith's offense stalled, every time it had that chance.

These last few days before each game are terrible for trying to be patiently waiting for more gifs. I need my fix of Mahomes gifs. Film breakdowns, gifs, videos, all of it.

We could have beat tenn if he brought in mahomes. I knew that wasn't going to happen but we would have won at least that game.

Those games had a weird energy to them....both had the QB scoring a TD on a one in a thousand deflection.

Buttkicker missing the FG didn't exactly help.

Wouldn't have mattered...Smith will never be a consistent big game QB. His comeback vs. the Saints was his career moment.
