*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It became obvious pretty quickly.
Meh. I think that their pretty dumb too. But I just skip over them. As soon as I see that the tweet says Capt. Mahomes, I just scroll on down. If Clay and the rest of the junior high maturity posters find it humorous, oh well.

One less man in coverage

Mahomes isn’t a run first quarterback so it will be a waste on most downs

Patrick pretty much only runs when the defense is giving him a ton of space (2 man coverage).

His long range accuracy hasn't been great lately.

Could be he can get away with bad footwork on the shorter throws, but he needs to be fundamentally sound to be accurate on the longer ones.

His long ball is just fine, alot of those misses were drops or they got a shoulder on Tyreek just slightly enough to interfere with his path to the ball. The Dieter one was a chemistry thing not knowing his WR's game speed

Not just TDs anymore folks.

YPA - 1st
Adjusted YPA - 1st
YPC - 1st
Net YPA - 1st
Adjusted net YPA - 1st

The only reason he isn't 1st in yards is because Roethsliberger has almost 100 more attempts.

Interesting!!!!

(Also, if the Luck thing is in fact a copy of a Rodgers thing, it's actually an improvement on the original because, once again, Andrew Luck actually kind of looks like a Civil War general, and so therefore there is an actual Joke)

You are not wrong. Rodgers was the original and like most things that originate on the internet it started at Something Awful and then moved to Reddit.
