With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

v Giants - Allen scores and takes the lead. McDermotts defense lets the Giants offense, led by Tyrod Taylor, walk all the way down the field and nearly won (probably should have won).

@ Bengals - Allen scores a TD with 4 minutes left and needs his defense to force a punt. What do they do? Give up a game ending drive.

v Broncos - Allen scores a TD and takes the lead with 2 minutes to go. McDermotts defense lets the Broncos drive the field and win.

They were so enamored with Allen having a lucky hot streak that they ignored who he actually is and they didn’t notice their defense and coaching was terrible and just resigned old players who can’t get on the field or have slowed a ton and doubled down by adding a broken Von Miller to a terrible contract just to beat the Chiefs.

And don't forget that they started out last season like they were a powerhouse, unstoppable force. That probably added to it.

Or he didn’t actually watch the game. Anyone who watched it and walked away thinking the defense cost them either is trolling or knows nothing about football outside of box scores.

But this from an article posted in that thread talking about him being lazy in the off season is hilarious. Allen truly is treating it like a half year job and his inability to read defense and improve his play is really showing this season.

To each their own the QB said. For him and his game, the best offseason activity is just to chill out.

Allen thinks the most important thing he can do when it’s not football season is to allow his body time to repair and get healthy, as he even goes as far as doing minimal working out until the start of spring practices.
