I actually think Kenny Florian summed it up pretty darn well last night. He's the only fighter I've ever seen (that I can recall) that will break the rules and then make you pay for it. It's just so surreal what this guy does in the cage. He's probably the best fighter I've ever seen.

With the exception of the Sonnen fight....AS just simply toys n destroys his opponents. he needs to move up to 205 after/if he fights Sonnen again because there simply isn't anyone in his division that can compete with him.
Either move up, or GSP catch-weight superfight at Jerry World (which I think would sell out) |

It is insane to see Silva drop his hands daring other fighters to hit him. They tend to just stand there, already mentally defeated, and when they do finally throw a punch...
He does a quick jab and knocks them on their asses with it. It is the craziest thing... |

Not taking anything away from Silva, but man the middleweight division is pure dog shit compared to the welterweight and light heavyweights division which have and had a ton of UFC HOF'ers in them. Same thing with the Cruiserweight division in boxing, I don't know what it is about the 185-190 lb weight classes, but they are traditionally the weakest in the sports.
Hopefull in his next fight Silva gets to fight someone that actually poses a threat. I'm thinking Rashad drops down or Sonnen if he wins his next fight. I wouldn't also mind seeing Jake Shields get a shot. |

I don't think the 185 division is that bad, it's just Silva is that much better than everyone else. Dan Henderson just beat Fedor and Silva beat him. Leben he dismantled and Leben is one of the best in 185 right now. I mean Forrest was LHW champ at one point and Silva made him look stupid so I don't think it's that bad just Silva is that good....Don't forget he destroyed Rich Franklin twice who was ruling 185 until then.

Brian Stann will be a good candidate if he wants an in house guy but he'll get hammered.

I wanted to see GSP take on Silva but I don't know if that is going to happen. I would like to see Silva move up a weight class to fight Jon Jones.

GSP doesn't finish like Silva, but he is at least as good if not better fighter then Silva. GSP is able exploits his opponents weakness, because GSP is so good in every aspect of the game. If he fights a wrestler like Koschek or Shields he keeps is standing doesn't get taken down and out strikes them, if he is facing a striker/brawler like Hardy he just takes him down and damn near breaks his arm.

I would to, but I think they will make Jones clear out the division first. Probably fights with Machida and a Rua rematch would come before a fight with Silva.
