D-Hop isn't realistically going to be playing more than 75% of the snaps at this point anyway.

Docking him 15% in a given game doesn't move the needle, especially given his age and the need to keep him healthy for the postseason.

I’m willing to bet the Chiefs offer him a deal to come back, due to the Rice fiasco. I’m almost certain Watson, Moore and JJSS won’t be back. Hollywood may get another 1 year deal if he recovers post injury. Hopkins, Brown, Worthy, will be on the 53 with Washington, Remigio, Thornton vying from the practice squad.

I'm not even saying he should see 75% of snaps/gm. But I think it makes a ton of sense for him to see at least 60% considering just how much more efficient the offense is overall when he's on the field.


But whatever. I guess we'll just see how it plays out.

I'd be okay with this as long as they grab real talent in the draft to complement D-Hop, Rice, Worthy, and Brown. Would also not be opposed to Watson sticking around for depth - he knows the offense and by all indications Reid loves him.

Well I think they are trying to make sure he's healthy for the playoffs run. He had the 4th most snaps (34 snaps or 45%) among WRs this week. Worthy, Watson, and Juju all had more than him.

What other reason would there be?
