Meanwhile they have a thread on there bragging about how Trubisky is on pace for the best statistical season of a Bears QB. Wonder if the Andy Reid offense has anything to do with it...oh wait, no...it's ALL Mitch. None of those gadget screens and shovel passes from Nagy have anything to do with it. Funny thing is I seem to remember people criticizing Mahomes for always going after the deep ball and never taking the checkdown. Today he torched the Browns with a lot of checkdowns...now getting criticized for that too. LOL |

Nah, I have zero interest in posting on their forum. The comments are predictably delusional though. People dig their heels in and can never, ever admit they might have been wrong.

Bears fans are in complete denial that Trubisky is a bust.

He's not a bust, thanks to Nagy's offense and tutoring. I think he will be a very solid QB for them over the years. But it's laughable for them to sit there ripping Mahomes for being a "system" guy while THEIR GUY is benefiting from the same damn system. Hypocrites.

There's never been a franchise quarterback breaking NFL records in his first season as a starter.
(Spontaneously does a little dance of joy.)

I tend to think you gotta give Trubisky some time in the offense. Only Year 1 for him since he had different coaches last year. I think over the long haul he will turn into a pretty good player with Nagy tutoring him.

When I watch Trubisky, I get vibes of what little I remember from watching a younger (pre-Chiefs) Rich Gannon playing for the Vikings vs. the Bears (of all teams) who I unfortunately used to be forced to watch all the time as a kid with my dad being a Bears fan. With that said, I can’t help, but think that Trubisky has the ceiling of...Rich Gannon later on in his career. They might be ok for a while which makes me sick because seriously...**** Bears fans. Bears fans at school growing up (the same ones who rooted for the preposterous Cubs) are the reason I decided that I couldn’t find it in myself to root for that garbage team with their garbage kicker (Kevin Butler) missing 3 field goals in a game to lose to the ****ing Raiders...which led to me becoming a Chiefs fan.
A real life interaction between my dad and I when I was 6-7 years old in 1989: “Umm...Dad? Why do we root for the Bears when their fans are the same people as the Cubs fans we fight with all the time?” “Because, dumbass. Because umm... I don’t know. Because uhhh...because ****ing Walter Payton was the best football player of all time... and he was a Bear. Good enough?!” “Ummm...Dad? I don’t think I can root for the Bears anymore. I hate their fans...and I hate Kevin Butler. And I hate Jim Harbaugh...he sucks. I hate this team...I need to find a new one.” “Whatever, dipshit... Just don’t become a ****ing Packers or Vikings fan. And no matter what, you WILL always be a St. Louis Cardinals fan. You aren’t allowed to jump ship on them or you WILL run extra sprints after every wrestling practice...deal?” |

I was frazzled when that was taken. My dad was pissed. I was frazzled because we were on top of the Sears Tower and the view outside (the heights) kind of scared me...and my dad was calling me a wuss for being scared. My dad was pissed because his oldest boy was being a wussy. |

Do these people not see throws like the TD to Kelce or the ball to Hill yesterday?
Also, if it’s just the weapons/system why couldn’t an above average QB like Alex throw even 30 TD’s? |
