Probably be one more down year, no playoffs. Hard to say what 2019 season will look like.

If we blow up the D we might. I have gone back and forth on what they will do with Talib. A friend and I were talking that they can't afford to trade/cut him. They are close there. The coaching needs to get better both prepping and during in game adjustments.

If they don't waste a 1st round pick on a QB they draft a RT high to solidify the OL then pick up a guy in FA, there could be up to 9 FA QB's this year if you include Alix, guys out there playing well John wouldn't have to over pay for.

They have a lot of draft picks and can address TE and depth at WR and possibly another G.

It all depends on if our coaches can figure out how to win the NFL.

Kelce is the second best TE in the league (all pro)
Peters was the best DB in 4 drafts (all pro both years confirms that)
The Chiefs would win the division (yup)
The Chiefs would lose in the AFCCG (extremely close on that prediction made in May or June. The holding call on Harrison was junk, btw. Even he said after the game he didn’t expect to get that call)
The Broncos would be garbage without Manning. Check.
I’d rather have Sean Smith and Peters at 6-7m total than Harris and Talib at over 20. That’s up for subjective debate.

It’s gonna be fun when Denver signs one or 2 more terrible OL for stupid money (like they have done every year) to fix the offense and let go of Talib (a huge reason your defense has been as good as it has) all in the same offseason they pick another QB that will bust because he has no protection from his crap line and will be learning a new offense from (another) new head coach.

The funniest part is gonna be when KC signs Talib to a one year deal and Mahomes shows that he’s THE NEW ELWAY...but without the horse teeth and used car stink.

I was 12 when the Broncos drafted Elway and it was about 1984, his second season when I started clinging to Denver.
