It's gotta suck to get the call that you've been traded to the A's. Now if you're lucky enough to get called up you're gonna play in Oakland this year or Sacramento over the next few years for an owner that doesn't give a shit about the team.

Would think it helps their odds of actually getting called up. I doubt they're too sad about that.

We have acquired INF Paul DeJong from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for RHP Jarold Rosado.

In a corresponding move, RHP John McMillon has been designated for assignment.
