You're bitching at Watson playing over Rice? Well there's probably a reason for that. Toney is coming back from an injury/missed camp and Andy's got him on a pitch count. When he was out it was apparent that Andy wanted Watson to run the deep routes with his speed. One worked out and another was a pick.

That's not Rice's game to burn guys downfield. Also in 2 games Rice is averaging
1/4 of the snaps. You act like he's not out there ever.
But it's not happening exactly the way he wants it to! He wants all the snaps, and he wants them right now!

Do we have Mike Williams and Keenan Allen?

Anyway the point is that young receivers have been producing at a higher and higher rate in the NFL, this idea that you gotta wait for year 2 is a crutch, that isn't going on anywhere else.

Nobody is even saying wait on year 2 with Rice. He's not Moore. They clearly have a plan for him this year, and Veach himself said that he should be getting starter snaps down the stretch.

They traded up for Rice, had a package for him week 1, and have used him more than any rookie WR in recent memory other than maybe Tyreek.

I agree. Play the young guys.

Like Andy did last year as the year wore on and they played more and more snaps, then played snaps in the postseason and the SB.

Again, are people really pushing back about wanting Rice on the field? Or are many of us just saying that we'll trust Reid to figure it out because he has a track record of doing so?

Even if you think that Reid is just that stubborn, if you truly believe that Rice could be the guy and just needs more snaps, worst case scenario, won't they be forced to do so at some point?

Bullshit. You'd be bitching that a 1st rd WR wasn't getting snaps and it would be a big problem.

You're not fooling anyone

Skyy Moore topped out at a 46% snap share last season.

In Week 12. His percentage actually dropped each week following.

His snap share never rose above 30% until Hardman got hurt.

The Chiefs didn't trade up for Skyy.

They didn't have a package for him week 1.

They didn't come out and say the goal was for him to grow into a starting role as the season goes on.

There's a difference between the two.

Fooling anyone?

Quentin Johnson was drafted to be a replacement not a compliment. I'm sure he'll see a lot of snaps when one of their guys gets hurt like always.
