What are you Smoking/Grilling/BBQ'ing this weekend?

What are you up to this weekend?

I finally gave up on my smoker and decided to get a new smoker. I went with a bigger model but less tech. Yes, its a cheater electric smoker. My 3rd one. I need more space to cook, I don't need help getting my smoke and temp right.

I've also never used injection for flavor except for pork butt or other big cuts of meat. I decided to give it a try. I developed my own injection. Basically like the other recipes you have out on the internet but I'm putting the rub in the injection and using sirracchi.

Full results not in yet but my son and I think its the best sausage we have ever had.

No sauce. Marinated the meat overnight. Injected the meat. Slow cooked the ribs and chicken. Baste it with a combo of butter and apple juice. Using a combination of Apple, Mesquite, Cherry and Hickory wood.

I just shrink the photo to whatever size necessary to post it to my CP album and then link from there.

This. I only use the app to post pics on here. Take all my pics on my iphone anyhow, so just another app I've got on there. Don't really care to browse on it but others very well may. It's great for uploading pics. Just hit the image icon and select the size and post your picture.

Brining (salt water, brown suga,r onion agf garlig trimmings, and 2 pork tenderloins, will marinate after, 2 slabs of back ribs and my last oxtail. Smoker fires up starting at noon and so does the Vodka Tonics.


I have a decent free picture app that I have about 5K pictures on. I'ts Postimage.

I'm with you. My flavors are really good, but I use a gas smoker which is not allowed in most competitions. Otherwise I would have entered one a few years ago.

Wow! That's quit the offer. Yeah I don't have a team. Just me and my wife. But if my grandsons are in town by those dates grandma will be to busy to help. Dinny, let me get signed up and then we'll see what we can do. I'm operating out of Springberg/town/field.
