You guys are better with Foles. I was hoping Reid would stick with the guy he traded 2 2nd round picks for. Now teams have to worry about the back half of the field.

Thank you

When QB's take off and are runners they either need to give themselves up way early or expect to get punished like an RB would.

I can't count the times I have seen Alex fake a slide, ok maybe Juke but the juke could be off a slide fake, then pickup even more yards. They either need to run then slide before anyone gets into a 3-5 yard radius or take the hits and stop complaining about it.

The other thing QB's can do to reduce taking hits outside of the pocket is to throw the ball, either throw it away or to a teammate, the Fire, one read than run play is for college.

I think this could be the end for Smith. He seems like the type of player to call it quits if he thinks that his long term health could be in jeopardy.

Absolutely but if you are a defensive team (which we are) you don't need the QB to have out of this world stats to win.

Might want to check out what Peyton's stats were last year in the regular season and playoffs. Did they still win the SB?

I have full confidence in Reid to make the right decision at QB. He knows more about QBs than anyone posting on this board. If Foles is the better QB he will see that and start him. If he isn't, he won't. It's that simple.

So I am not going to worry about who is starting at QB. If you want to go head...

And let me be clear and say that I would love for Foles to tear it up and become the next great KC QB I just don't think he is better than Alex. That's my opinion. I bet half of you acting like he is great have barely even seen him play prior to Sunday.

Hopefully Foles proves me wrong. We will see.

Stats are overrated. The most important stat is wins and losses. Tom Brady has said this numerous times and so has BB.

We won the game.. That's the goal every time any team plays on Sunday. The goal isn't to get nice stats and lose but hey if how many yds we got on offense is all you care about more power to you.
Tom Brady has also been in the top 5 in most stat categories over the past decade or so. Interesting how that correlates...

I hope that we barely squeak out a win with Foles throwing for 135 yards and 2 picks. For the same reason. To end the debate.
