That’s the thing, KC is better. You, like most fans only see the highlights and see KC winning close games or due to things like blocked FGs, fumbles, etc…

Thing is Philly’s dominance in the playoffs is a product of generating a lot of turnovers. Without those they might not even be in the SB. Not discounting those turnovers, but just like Buffalo they have feasted on them. Are they going to be as dominant if they don’t get those from KC?

Now KC’s much better than they were in 2022. The only area that they will be worse than in 2022 is at LG and that’s because Thuney is playing LT. The OLine outside of LG is better, the WRs are also far better. Plus in 2022 a good portion of the defense started rookies. They now have three years in the same system.

KC’s early offensive struggles had a lot to do with injuries and now they are fully healthy. Taking nothing away from Philly or their talent and they could win, but you are vastly underestimating this team and like other fans who think KC never has a chance.

Your Eagles defense in 2022 was one of those #1 defenses taken into calculation. Also let's just say 31 because Jalen gave us a free 7 and I'm feeling generous.

Jalen in that SB was unbelievable, but he hasn't replicated that performance since and has a bad knee. Barkley is new but we haven't given up over 100 yards rushing to any RB this season. Barkley to be fair is having a unicorn season but I wouldn't expect him to run all over the Chiefs. Maybe he gets 110 and 1 TD, again I'm feeling generous. Thats still a lot of offense Jalen has to account for against Mahomes.

If only Philly’s elite defense would have only given up 33, especially against a Mahomes on one good ankle and JJSS being his #1 WR.

Solid post, agree with a lot but the Eagles play to win regardless of passing or running, they can do either. Not always pretty but the only goal is to win. Jalen can make plays when he needs to. Should be a good game and I am super happy they are facing KC again.

He couldn't two weeks ago. His knee looked absolutely cooked.

The media also did you a lot of favors this past week by pouring nitrous oxide on the fire with all the refs/rigged bullshit. I've never seen these players so pissed and yet so laser-focused. They want to rip your hearts out and shit on them and it's not because it's you. It's because they have a point to prove to everyone.

This is going to be the most difficult game the Eagles have ever had to play. They will need to be perfect in every single way. A lot of pressure comes with that. We know the pressure, we embrace it.

That just happens to be how the Chiefs play now...because of the Fangio defense. Kelce, Nuk, Juju all good at finding those holes in the zone. Your only hope is getting pressure with the front 4 which statistics show you've been ok at. Is OK enough to win a Super Bowl against the greatest killer in the NFL?

Well we will see. Cheifs barely beat the bills ( with help of refs). I don't think it will be easy but certainly don't think KC is some unbeatable team. Eagles are solid at all positions. PM is something else but will it be enough?

lol, nfl network replayed the eagles/KC super bowl tonight. The holding call at the end of the game was terrible and a gift to KC. Even the announcers were in disbelief.

Thank you. But KC also plays to win, which is why they are capable of pulling out close wins like they do. They have lost one game that Mahomes started since Christmas Day 2023. They are 9-0 in the playoffs. They were predicted to lose to a “superior” Eagles team in 2022. They won.

The next year they were supposed to lose when they traveled to Buffalo. They won. Then they had to go to Baltimore who was viewed as almost unbeatable with the almost unanimous league MVP. KC had no chance. Until they won. Then they had to face a SF team that was more talented and was going to win this time. Until KC won.

This year? Yup. Losing to Buffalo was expected, until KC won again. Now it’s the same story again. We will see how it ends.
