Advice: Yarbrough will be placed on waivers and if he goes unclaimed, he'll either report to Triple-A Oklahoma City or elect free agency. He is the odd man out on the major-league roster after the team acquired infielder Amed Rosario from the Rays via trade Monday. Yarbrough has produced a respectable 3.74 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 39 strikeouts over 67.1 innings in 32 appearances with Los Angeles this season

BWJ is so damn humble and quiet it’s incredible. He’s not cocky, doesn’t bat flip, doesn’t do anything over the top, just keeps his head down and plays ball. Very lucky to have him on our team….. obviously. But the intangibles are amazing. He even supports his teammates at every chance he gets.

Very reasonable to think they will be better end of the year.

Bobby has a .378 bapip lol

I have begun to sour a bit on bapip though to try to weed out flukey starts or lack thereof because some guys just always have a high bapip...like Alex Gordon.

There's so much that goes into BABIP.

How much contact do you make?
How hard is that contact. on average?
Are you fast enough to beat out a lot of IF grounders?
Are you hitting lots of line drives?

If you can run like the wind, you hit the ball hard (and consistently hit it hard), you control the strike zone, and you hit a lot of line drives, like Bobby Witt, BABIP is generally going to be higher than average.
