The idea that Allen, Burrow, and Mahomes were just going to trade titles was always kinda ridiculous.

That’s not really the way the League works. Normally one QB wins several in an era, then 2 or 3 guys win maybe 2 (normally really good QBs with great defenses). The rest gets spread out amongst QBs having dream seasons and winning their only title.

The gap between Mahomes and everyone else is probably larger than even Chief fans realized.
