Andy Reid appreciation thread

The guy could easily have tried to pump his superstar QB by throwing on the goal line at the end of the game.

He did the smart thing and pounded it three times for the ****ing win.

Word to your mother, Pete Carroll.

Oh, and he has mind control over the AFC West. 18-1 in his last 19.

Chiefs finish 15-2 he's at 275.

He can easily get 27 wins in two seasons. Hard, but not impossible.

Is a "PO" a peel off block or something? This sounds plausible.

Holy shit holy shit.

In football, a "peel off" is a blocking technique where a player essentially "releases" their block and moves away from the defender, usually to protect the quarterback

This is ****ing wild. Andy said that WELL before the players came to the line of scrimmage. What did he see that made him say that?

Or is JuJu...forgetful?

He has Mahomes. As long as Andy has him he won’t get any consideration for coach of the year, despite deserving it.

Lmao. No.

What Kevin OConnell has done with that Vikings team, losing their 1st round qb, and rolling with Sam ****ing Darnold, taking this multiple time cast-off to an 11-2 record with 108 quarterback rating, 3300 yards, 28 to 10 td/int ratio is absolutely amazing. Everyone thought the Vikings were absolutely ****ed.

Andy ignoring his shitty pass protection, calling dumb plays that waste important downs contributing to a dumpster fire redzone percentage, and getting his bacon pulled put of the fire by eagle eyed special teams, his defense, and 15 throwing his cape on and proving why he's the best player in football is not coach of the year material.

If there was an award for doing less with more, he's probably a lock for that award.

I mean Veach is going all out adding players and adding players and adding players and it's still this razor thin barely scraping by, head scratching stuff.

If the struggles were primarily defensively, then id understand this more. Andy is an offense guy. Through and through. Yet week after week after week we see the same old stagnat struggling offense with the best qb that ever lived, arguably the best TE, a tandem of solid running backs, and a hall of fame wr. Move the ball between the 20s, get to the redzone, iq drops to single digits and settle for 3.

Hilariously enough, it looks like the Chiefs are more interested in Hopkins trade cost than actually using him to help the offense.

Now, if this is as many say, just Andy hiding his cards for the threepeat post season push, and the Chiefs come out and are dropping 30+ on every opponents head, playing down to nobody, just crushing everyone, I'd be inclined to change my opinion.

That's not who this team has EVER been in the 3 title win seasons, but somehow, this whole "Andy's going vanilla" narrative still lives on.

As it stands now, it just looks like an offense oriented guy not able to figure out how to get his offense to score touchdowns with any regularity, or roll over even the worst nfl teams despite having the best in the business at the controls.

Browns are a 3 win team coming up, but the odds are that this game will look like a clash of champions, with the game still up for grabs by both teams in the 4th quarter.

Historically, the other back to back SB champs were done in by injuries more than free agency.
