Like most I've seen the highlights of her. She has a quick release (most of the time) and does seem to know how to get to her spots. She's fearless and that helps.

But she is no sort of athlete out there and in the rare instances I've seen clips of people playing defense on her, they're just toying with her.

Anybody remember watching Shawn Bradley back in the 90s? Guy was just big and gangly and laughably terrible because he had no athleticism at all. She's an outside shooting version of Shawn Bradley.

I mean it can't be quite as simple as I've let on - nobody scores 4,000 points or whatever she's scored by being a complete duffer. She's dealt with good defenses in the past. But it looks like anytime you have someone that's quick, they expose her a little bit. And when you combine that with a team that has the physicality and speed to get to her spots before her and just body her off them, she doesn't really have a Plan B that I can see.

I mean, this is a hot take and a half. She’s not good enough for men’s basketball. 90% of the country with half a brain know women can’t compete in men’s basketball. But she’s a hell of a basketball player compared to women. Yeah of course a guard is gonna look a little stiff when you’re playing 40 minutes with no help playing against a defender whose only job is to defend the daylights out of her. Paige bueckers is incredibly crafty and she ran into the same issue. Young guards at this level can’t do this shit alone.

What was her plan b gonna be? To throw it into the vortex of giants?

She will no doubt need some adjustment to the pros. But she’s a brilliant basketball player when compared to her biological peers.

Just watching that girl for SC pick her pocket showed how ill-prepared she'd be for any sort of high level mens basketball. She'd get wrecked in college. She just was not ready for that kind of speed and physicality. And it was nothing resembling what she'd face in Division 1 men's ball, let along the NBA.

It would just be a blood bath. She wouldn't be able to create her own shot and frankly she'd get beaten to her spot on any attempts to work off the ball to get an open look. And god almighty, can you imagine her trying to play defense at that level?

But we have folks saying she'd be an asset as a 3 and D wing for spacing and scoring punch. Just...wow.

I'm a huge Clark fan but I know she would get destroyed by many D-3 starters, let alone a major team. It's like the women's US National soccer team lost to that U15 boys team.

She is a great shooter, but he ball would be bigger in the Men's game and a lot tougher to shoot. She is only 6'1" and it would be tough to get off those shots, and her range would be limited with the bigger ball. I absolutely love Clark, but theres a huge difference in Mens and Womens. That's why it's ridiculous to think that a biological male should be able to play in the Womens game.

women’s athletes are better than they get credit for. But claiming they can compete with men is delusional. Nor should it matter except the annoying bug in your ear that tries to convince you they can. The better question is what level can they compete with men? College level? Unlikely. But I also think they’d more than hold their own against some pretty good pick up players who like to shit on them behind a keyboard. Probably somewhere in between there.

I’d bet clark would embarrass some dudes with her off ball movement and an inexperienced defender. But if a guy knows what he’s doing and has decent size and athleticism which is a much lower bar for men vs women, yeah that would be tough
