When I was going through SF training in Bragg many moons ago..there was a guy who was training with me and we all got to talking about cars one very cold rainy night
He said he had a brother who was in his late 30s..lived at home with their parents..worked from home as some sort of computer genius..no wife no girlfriend..no hobbies other than buying old cars and having them restored According to this guy his brother had a big metal barn built behind the house..had like 20-30 old muscle cars I can't remember all but he had a 67 Gt500 Stang..a 68 Camero..a 70 Chevelle SS454 LS6..a Bandit Car supposedly from the movie..a few rare Challengers and Chargers..I think he had a Shelby Cobra..if I remember right Didn't believe the guy but he had his mom mail him pictures of everything |

Got to see her today at work. So not sure of all the terminology but they made "versions" this year. This is a version 2 Hurst edition that they modified with a Supercharger after arriving to the dealer. Makes it even rarer I guess. So it's a version 2 with a 6.1L engine but with the Supercharger that was made for version 4. All modifications are Hurst related including the wheels. Forgot the under the hood shot.....**** me!
Bad ass ride.

Of my current car? Not many. Been lazy about it~ Really want a hood before I start showing it off.
6 months ago Car as it sits right now~ When I bought it the car was a built top end, (worked heads and all the trimmings) stock bottom end with a spec stage 1 400hp/400tq clutch, all the bolt ons including fast 92 intake and TB, volant intake, 40lb injectors, tick master, etc etc. It had a SHITTY email tune, which we FINALLY got fully bug free last week, it was pig rich, with idle and tip in issues etc. Its leaned way out and they left a ton of power on the table. Also switched out the clutch as that spec stage 1 just was on the weak side for what the car is putting down, to a 700hp/tq monster stage 3, monster flywheel, new slave cylinder etc. Scored some super nice ws6 polished speedlines and new tires from a local guy at a great price.Did the CETA mod to the bottom bumper, in before pics its white, after its black inlaid. Replaced tons of little shit.. window motor, bulbs, radio is on order from Amazon. I actually put the panhard bar, rear lcas, rear LCA relocation brackets, and weld on subframe connectors in my cart today and ALMOST pulled the trigger. If they had a 5% coupon code or something I would have done it. Its between that or a ws6 hood for my self Christmas present. Last edited by hometeam; 12-11-2015 at 08:50 PM.. |

I'll take you... all that horsepower to lug around that 6000 pounds and on only 2 wheels at the starting line... bring it!

Yes, BRCs car will take that Hurst just like my Mustang will take BRCs Scat pack. I really am bad at comparing how fast cars should be if they raced next to each other though. Probably because I don't know that much about cars.

Some light Googling says BRC would probably win vs me, but maybe a little sand from those Florida beaches blows onto the road and gives me the slightest edge on the starting line. And I would totally own efficiency... 28mpg on my longest road trip, bitches!!

I hit 4.0 today in a 0-60 try. I didn't floor it exactly at the start. Someone on a board said trying going 3/4th speed on the gas pedal initially and it may help you keep rubber on the road. Still shocks me how fast the car is. Feels so much faster when you are in the car.
