Let’s talk about the Buffalo Bills

CBS sending their pre-game show on-site for this one; pretty much unheard of for a regular season game

Chiefs came out healthy today from what I saw. Bills TE Dalton Kincaid left game today with knee injury.

I think Kansas City will bring it for this one, but Buffalo should too. Can’t wait.

Allen has thrown 4 INTs in his past three games, including 2 today.

Coleman, Milano, and Kincaid are going to be out. Cooper might not play.

I was kinda alluding to the mental state of the players after today. Some of them definitely thought they lost the game, and even if they won't admit it, I bet some players were relieved, or would have been relieved to lose.

The pressure of winning every week to keep the streak alive has to be enormous for the players. Who wants to be the reason the streak ends? Nobody. But, some player, more than likely, will be mostly responsible for our first loss.

So, I feel like this near-loss, or perceived loss, will either cause them to be flat against the Bills, or this miraculous victory in the face of defeat will galvanize this team even more, and they will crush Buffalo.

I feel like playing a close game against Buffalo next week just isn't a viable outcome, win or lose.

That video is fantastic.

What a time to be alive. It’s gone up 10 notches this year. People despise the Chiefs and it’s awesome

I'm thinking he should look at a map and see where Buffalo is in relationship to Canada.

Bill Cowher talked about this yesterday when they went 15-1 and the loss came early in the season. But then barely won the first playoff game and then lost in the AFCCG.

He said that the long winning streak def took a toll on the players and by the time the playoffs rolled around everyone was mentally exhausted by it.

I think it's the same with this team. If it means losing a few to win the 3 peat I'm for that. There's been two undefeated seasons (regular season) so it's been done already.

I just feel like watchin the team yesterday they are playing down a bit. I just wonder if this long streak combined with the playoffs last year and how tough that was is taking a bit of a toll.

I dunno, each team handles pressure differently and it's all based on their goals, not necessarily what we talk about every week.

Kelce talked about how last year's SB was the most meaningful to the team because they thought they were repeating the first time around against the Bucs, and wanted to do something as special as winning two in a row.... so, think about basically spending two full seasons with the goal of not winning one SB, but two SBs. And then getting back to the AFCCG and SB consecutive years with another chance to repeat.

And their one and probably only goal this season is to do the unthinkable and 3-peat... so, I'm not sure being 9-0 with a chance at 10-0 or 11-0, etc; is really something weighing them down at this point. There are ~2-3 teams per decade that start the season at least 10-0, so it's not that rare.

Amazing how lucky we've gotten with opposing team injuries. Amari, Coleman both out, Kincaid questionable and not likely to play. Milano still on IR. Don't see how we don't beat Josh Allen and the JV squad.

Just chalk another W.

Odd, considering they rested their starters in the last game of the season (and still won of course)... that team was also 6-10 the previous season and hadn't really done much for a while, so they weren't nearly as experienced in huge games and pressure situations.
