Anyone Whining about the Chiefs Benefitting from PI

Should also acknowledge the play immediately preceding it in which our first down was taken off the board BY A PENALTY AGAINST KC.

OR, the BS Roughing the QB penalty that Jones drew, which actually extended a drive that led to an Atlanta touchdown. If that call isn't made, the Falcons punt and never score their second touchdown. Thus, making anything called or not called, at the end of the game, irrelevant.

That's exactly what I said when that was called, that the receiver ran into McDuffie and that's not pass interference.

The disputed non-call was defensive pass interference, but it wasn't obvious when it happened. Six-foot six inch Kyle Pitts was able to go where he wanted after 6-foot one-inch Cook made initial contact with him and when Cook reengaged with him (and committed interference), the official was behind Pitts and just seeing a ball that was thrown at about the level of Cook's head. Cook did in fact make contact with Pitts just before the throw and Cook hadn't turned his head around, but the official was just seeing that the ball wasn't thrown in a good spot for Pitts to take advantage of his height advantage. When the play happened, I sorta thought it was pass interference, but I wasn't certain until I saw the replay in slow motion. It was harder to see in real time, especially from where the official was. The McDuffie bullshit interference was obviously not pass interference in real-time. The receiver ran into McDuffie.

The Chiefs franchise has been through their years of zero zebra "respect" and we still have shitty calls and no-calls against us affect us, but it all goes back to my saying, "NFL officials call everything they see, but only see what they want"...

My thing is, everyone acts like a score is automatic from the one. I mean can you imagine if the Falcons had the ball with the game on the line and needed one measly yead?!? There's no way they couldn't get one yard!! Not with multiple tries!

I mean I'm glad it all happened how it did because we got the dub, but a small part of me wishes they got the PI just so our defense could slam the door at the goal line.
