Well, guess what, the Chiefs got themselves a tough defense, and now Jeff has switched gears and found other things about the Chiefs to bitch about.

They could win 5 straight Super Bowls and he'd say it was the easiest path you could possibly have created.
I really just don't know how any sort of argument can legitimately remain at this point.

By most objective measures, the Chiefs ran the toughest gauntlet in NFL HISTORY to win a championship last season. It was remarkable. And they went through both Allen and Jackson to do it.

And both Allen and Jackson had several opportunities to make the plays that would've won them those games and they failed to get the job done.

I mean the goddamn discussion is closed. Especially when you combine that with the 2022 SB season where his weapons were as bad/worse than 2023 and he DIDN'T have the complete dynamic defense carrying him. He then proceeded to play a nearly perfect SB to beat a friggen loaded Eagles team.

I guess the last 2 seasons have just made things awfully tough on these talking heads. Because lord, what more is there to say? This kid is authoring the greatest early career that any QB has ever had. And it's not particularly close in that regard. And if he hangs them up tomorrow he has one of the 3-5 best resumes of all time.

Just stop. Y'all are just making yourselves look foolish at this point.

Jeff Chadiha is just a miserable person. I think it comes from growing up in Michigan. Somehow, Michiganders are just complete downers.

Let’s do a recap:

We have a slight problem at CB2/CB3 but not William Bartee level of bad.

Ravens have the worst pass defense in the league by a wide margin despite the numbers getting better bc a terrible Bo Nix missed wide open receivers.

Bills defense can’t stop the run and is overall not good.

Lions defense has a huge pass rush problem after losing Hutchinson and their secondary isn’t great.

Texans OL is awful, WR’s are hurt and their defense, especially secondary, is awful.

Every team has problems. I trust the Chiefs staff the most to mask those problems and adjust.

I don't feel bad knowing that none of our competition really did anything today either. Tre White is a non-starter.

Been saying that all along, folks.

This is a slightly worse, but not significantly worse, version of what Cook had to deal with last season and it happened 7 weeks prior to Cook's injury.

I absolutely think there's a chance he returns this year. But you really can't know because it's ligament stuff that will ultimately make the determination. And there's no way to know how those are going to bounce back because it's very person to person.

That sounds like an argument for a safety or LB

Agreed with the above, but would have loved to mitigate any/all risk. Still have confidence we'll be fine.

One call out on the above is that Lions added Za'darious today. But who knows if they'll make it all the way?

It's a fair point, it was an off game from our LBs imo. All looked way off the pace. They'll have better games
