I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Dude, our bigs have played dominant this weekend. I don't know if it's because its been so long since I've seen us with more than one tall guy who can rebound and dunk on a regular basis. It is very nice for a change.

Also, you think this will count for a signature win come tourny time?

Hard to say - Dayton doesn't look that great.

I don't pretend to have much of a clue when it comes to basketball, but if Dayton continues to win, I think it will. I don't think the loss to Ole Miss is gunna hurt too bad, either.

Frank won't be happy with that possession we had a few minutes ago, took 3 3's and missed all of them, then gave up an easy bucket.

That was a bad pass by Pullen. But he's impressing me with how he keeps going to guys and talking to them about what they're doing wrong. Didn't look like he was pouting there, just trying to be a leader.

Jake looks to be turning into a leader, as well. Just ran down the court in transition & slapped the ball away without committing a foul, then chewed out McGruder about something... Good things. We look much better than we did 48 hours ago.
