Looks good! and I agree on the chicken thighs, breast can be easy to dry out, wings not much bang for the buck. My wife cooks the crap out of chicken and I hate when she cooks breast, driest, toughest bird ever.

So bottom line on this Alton Brown method: It's really good, that sear is legit. But I don't think it's worth the mess and the smoke to give up cast iron.
