Well, to be fair, Wharton has been an ass kicker this year. But in general, yeah, they kinda need Omenihu to come back ready to go for the thing to kick into high gear IMO.

It's also why I wouldn't be opposed to adding another CB or a DE.

I almost wanted to make a Matt Nagy appreciation thread but this is as good a spot as any.

This offense is a mess man. And every week it's "Matt Nagy sucks!!!"

And I just don't get it. We're building the damn plane as we're flying it and finding ways to make it work. It's not ideal or pretty. It's not even that much fun. But that's not their job.

Their job is to do the best they can with what they've got and in 3-4 weeks they've fundamentally altered the entire identity of an offense that they've spent 5+ years building.

It's impressive as hell.

What’s more impressive here is that they had to literally scrap the gameplan and wing it in 4 of their last 5 games.

Pacheco gets hurt…welp let’s figure out what to do with a undrafted rookie RB and Perine who literally just got there a week prior.

They have literally had to piece together a gameplan on the fly and improvise. It must be so frustrating bc it’s all due to injuries.
