Hate to rain on your parade with facts but i went back and watched the All 22 on offense, every pass snap including penalties.

On 35 pass sets Brown had:
No help on 24 snaps
TE help on 1 snap
TE chip on 3 snaps
RB help on 3 snaps
RB chip on 4 snaps

That's no help on 24 snaps and help on 11 snaps. He wasn't an issue at any point in the game. On one of the pressures that i'm sure he was credited with, he was pushing the DE past the QB and Burrow failed to step up. On another, he had control but Burrow didn't have room to step up.

The offense looked like shit because Burrow played like shit. OBj was fine and he was def better than Donovan Smith.

If they are equal to Brown Jr. and Wylie (very low bar) then it's a push for us. I fully expect them to hurdle that 4 inch bar though, so KC will end up ahead. Plus if Smith is the equal of Brown Jr. then they can walk away after this year. Unfortunately you all are stuck with Brown Jr for a few more years.

I do because i just watched flamthrowers being aimed at your WRs after a bad game when they were touted highly just a couple minutes before. I'm just thinking with as much praise as i saw for your Ts, it was gonna take a little longer for them.

I don't think it's going to turn out how you had hoped it would turn out.

Taylor is very expensive at $20M per year. He damn well better perform much better than Wylie.

What? Having two tackles that are the equal to or better than two of the worst starting tackles last year? No one thinks we signed Anthony Munoz on the left side. We just know that Smith can't be worse than Brown Jr was.

Taylor should settle in just fine. He's been trending up in passpro for a while. It's just DS that i would be worried about.

No, i don't think it's going to turn into the OBj shit show that you may be expecting. And i think there's a definite possibilty that you're not going to be pleased with Smith.

He could be solid. He has the track record, i just don't see him being better than OBj and i think the potential is there for him to not be good.
