All I'm getting from this sim is that we're gonna have to be pretty aggressive to walk away with Harmon or Nolen.

Fun little tool though. Wish I was as plugged in as I used to be.

I think the prevailing thoughts are that both are top-15 to top-20 talents, but both have issues that could push them down into our range. Nolen with character and Harmon with medicals.

I'm seeing a lot of mocks with us taking Henderson or Judkins as well, and neither of them are getting out of the 50's in Dunc's simulator.

I had a dream last night that we took him in the 1st round and this place went nuts.

IIRC the next few picks were trading up for Scourton in the 2nd, taking Farmer at 66, then taking Jaylin Lane at WR in the 4th.

Honestly, it seemed very realistic if Veach is being honest with all his talk about putting weapons around Pat and finding guys that can contribute in the return game.

I tried it with Dunc's sim - it HATED taking Henderson at 31 and Scourton kept going in the mid-30's. Had to settle for this:

31) Henderson

50) Traded 63 and 95 for 50 and 172, took Tuimoloau

66) Farmer

133) Lane

It's sad, maybe, that I had a dream about the draft haha. Honestly, I like this version you have. I prefer Tuimoloau anyhow. If he's there for the taking in 2, love it.

It's a real struggle to get my grade into the A range with that one, I'll say that.

Only way I can do it is chase grades. Go with Conerly instead of Burden. Harris instead of Royals. Stuff that I wouldn't want to do, but that I know they'll like more.

And when you turn the randomness down, the draft is almost identical every time. Burden and Conerly are ALWAYS there. The only real wrinkle is that sometimes Egbuka is as well.

Man that would be an interesting question -- Egbuka vs. Burden. I love Burden's potential but Egbuka's floor just seems so damn high to me. I just don't see any way that he's not a starting boundary WR for 6 years in the league.

HaHa!

I have beaten you, Sticktothemodel.

I secured my A draft (not some piddly A-)

This draft is INCREDIBLY stupid but I was expressly trying to game the board.

It's favorite first 2 rounds for KC are Booker and Norman-Lott. It thinks you're pretty hot shit if you do that.

Then the 3rd rounder is spotty -- never an A-Grade WR there; sometimes an A-Grade Edge though. The problem then becomes the late 3rd because it really likes Oladejo at Edge there or Kinnard.

Trying to hit OT, IOL, DL, Edge and WR while getting A grades for all players has proven EXTREMELY difficult to this point. Booker and Norman Lott are the only path forward I can find because DL becomes really tough to get an A grade after that 2nd round. Sometimes Farmer will get it done. Vernon Boughton in the 4th has been there a time or two but usually I've duffed the A grade on the WR in the 3rd round and end up with a B+.

If I can get Booker, ONL, Milum, Kinnard and Restrepo, I think I'd pull it off. I've been SO close -- Restrepo went at 131 once. Two more spots and I nail all their needs and get all A players.

Patrick Mahomes II might like this one. And whatever Patrick Mahomes II likes, I like. Let's run with this one.

Would anyone be terribly disappointed in this? All this plus 3 picks in R5 and a 2026 R4.
