Anyone who wonders about Bryce Brown and him being a prima donna should check this thread.

I hope someone is watching espnU and witnessed the Dre Kirkpatrick announcement... The kid had hats on the table and decided to pull out a gym bag. Inside the bag was a white garbage bag and inside that was a red box with a red bow. Finally he pulled out a Bama hat but he had a different bama hat on the table. He could've just grabbed the bama hat on the table. These announcements are getting ridiculous....just thought i would share

I'm coming off the ledge a little.

It wasn't a great class for MU, but Freeman (big ol' 350 lb tackle with basketball footwork) and Lawrence late saved the class. Teaming Freeman up with Fisher should help our O-line quite a bit, we needed a lot more size.

It's still disappointing that we didn't see a bump at all from the Daniel/Maclin/Coffman seasons, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hopefully the new guy from LSU will get it into a higher gear.

Yeah, Freeman was a pleasant surprise. And, it may sound like sour grapes, but having watched video of Lawrence as opposed to Wingo, I really believe he is a better RB for our offense. I would have loved to have Wingo at safety though.

Rivals: 37th overall, 8th in the BigXII & 3rd in the BigXII North
Scout: 36th overall, 6th in the BigXII & 2nd in the BigXII North

Look on the bright side. Andrew Norwell, a 5 star tackle just comitted to OSU. That's our 3 player for 2010.

I liked Wingo better as a WR, personally.

I think Lawrence will be great for us. He's a little smaller than D-Wash but seems quicker. I'm really surprised to see him only get a 3-star rating, but I'll live with it.

We still need to be consistently in the top 20 to start really thinking about winning the conference every now and then. That's my goal, so while this offseason wasn't a complete disaster, it still isn't where they need to be.

Tress knows how to keep the trenches stacked doesn't he. I wanted to see us land one more big time DT, but we have a lot of guys coming back on the D-line. I think Thaddeus Gibson is going to be a beast, Nathan Williams started to tear it up too.

Yep, I am thrilled to get Henson in here to lead recruiting and see what we can do. Pinkel and his Toledo guys have done well, but we obviously needed to look outside the circle to take us to the next level.

We can't discount what Pinkel has done with 2 and 3 stars the past few years, but odds are he can't continue to do it, and hopefully we start getting more 4 and 5 stars. I like the players we got this year, but we lstill ost a few too many head-to-head recruiting battles.

Also, what I like best about this class is that we beefed up in the trenches. Having great skill players is nice, but we're not going to start beating the likes of OU or UT until we match their talent on the offensive and defensive lines. Sheldon is going to be a beast.

In overall recruiting ranking. If you're looking for the #1 team, that title still belongs in Gainesville, as does today's recruitment class avg star rating.
