It's going to be hard to beat 3-4 playoff teams with Morris at LT

We are average 5.2 yards per play, which is *by far* the worst of the Mahomes era and actually *below average* this year in the NFL. He's probably the worst starting LT in the league and kills drives.

I think you have to bring in one of the former starters who are on the street.

Maybe it’s up to Mahomes and Reid to demand Veach address the position seriously in the off season . It’s just having too much of an impact

They will definitely have to consider re-allocating the salary cap investment in the offensive line.

Right now Thuney and Taylor are #2 and #4 in highest salary cap #’s on the team, while Wanya Morris is making less than their RB3, Perine.

Have to make LT a bigger priority, based on how it impacts Mahomes’ play.

May have been discussed already, but there are plays you can call to help out the OL. Screens for one. Didn't see a single one yesterday. Quick slants. Didn't see any of those either. And can we not get Worthy open in the middle of the field deep, not the sidelines? I think a lot of the blame lies at Nagy's feet.

Yup.

Kingsley wasn't even active yesterday.

Missed on Skyy, when the Steelers grabbed Pickens after that.

Yes Veach crushed a couple of drafts but he's missed A LOT. A LOT.

And we're seeing that right now in these areas, eg no left tackle, issues at WR, we don't have a single great edge rusher....

You didn't see any screens? They threw one to Gray and Dirted one that was ****ing blown up instantly. I do agree though that they need to emphasize the quick pass game more. Other teams call up a few quick hitters to get back in rhythm and we just never seem to find one.

It’s not just Wanya. This has to be fixed. Inexcusable for the other 4 OL to be losing like this.

Paying your guards and center the money is a luxury. What is the point if you are going to roll with this? I give them a pass with Taylor because they kinda were in a messed up spot when OBJ didnt sign and he has been picked on a bit with penalties but we are doing it backwards. If you are a power run first team you pay your center/guards if you are a pass first team you pay your tackles.

And the run blocking on that brutal missed 3rd and 1 conversion attempt.

I said it another thread, but this IOL is so ****ing overrated it's not even funny. Any that's been here for a while knows 'm far from a doomer, but I'm sick of hearing about how great it is and then paying them so much just to watch them get their asses kicked day in and day out. I would NOT pay Trey big money...I know that.

It's always shit. we couldn't convert a 3rd and 1 without gimmicks to save our lives before we got Kareem back.

I’m struggling to think of another NFL team Wanya would start on. I’m not even convinced Taylor gets a starting job elsewhere.

Basically we are starting 2 unemployable tackles.

Outrageous.

Idk why we insist on paying guards if we’re mainly a passing team. Just get plug and play guards and spend on tackles
