Hunt has already received a heavy workload since coming back to the Chiefs. He's gotten way more touches per game than he ever got in Cleveland.
Yeah, he's a big boy, but he's probably not used to it. And I'd rather he be able to give us some great games in the playoffs than waste all his juice on this meaningless Buffalo game. |

Also, like I said on another thread, everything happens for a reason and that reason is usually for the Chiefs benefit. I don’t see us losing two more games this season. |

I remember when we played well in the regular season AND in the post season without needing to "save plays" or any of that cope bullshit. Good times.

I don’t buy the excuses for the offense saving stuff or not wanting to show too much for the simple fact it’s not like we were great on offense last post season. We struggled in the red zone against the Dolphins, generally played well against the Bills, and in the next two games we went like 12 straight drives or whatever it was without a TD. We were basically the exact same in the post season as we were all regular season.
The only possible difference this year in hopes of being better is getting Brown back along with Pacheco. We are absolutely no threat in the intermediate passing game. It’s all short or deep prayers to Worthy. |

No amount of Andy being bored, will fix the Left Tackle play. That is the biggest problem with the offense. And it's glaring.

Cause we have 1 true pass rushers and hes one of the most double teamed players in the league. Karlaftis is solid but he's not great at 1 on 1s and doesn't really have any consistent rushes other than bullrushes. And on the other side you have Danna/FAU/Uche. All 3 are pretty bad right now. Getting Omenihu back will be huge.

I genuinely believe that not having to concern themselves with being undefeated is a good thing as the pressure to win all of them would have gotten worse and they might have tripped up at the wrong time.

Watched the game again. The difference was Allen, and their decision to go for it on the final 4th down play. Nothing else. I have no doubt Mahomes goes the length of the field if they kick a field goal, based on his previous drive where he lit it up.

I just chalk it up to fatigue. Season is too long to play every game like it's the post season but that's how every single team plays us. It's awesome to start 9-0. Makes it so much easier for the final stretch to not burn yourself out right before the playoffs.
We've got a favorable schedule now and if we started the season and said we'd go 3-1 against Buffalo, san fran, Baltimore and cincy, we'd take that. |
