Here is yet another angle that destroys your conclusion: The improper private salary deferment agreements were done without notice to the Union or the League. So then, if the League didn't know, then how the hell were the resultant lower salaries made part of their calculations of Denver's salary cap such that we had more room to sign players? Either they knew we'd lowered those players current year salaries or they didn't, which is it?
You were already told that the League office DIDN'T do what you were suggesting (specifically - The League's position is they check EVERY roster EVERY week. If there's a problem with the cap they inform the team and the team has to make a change in their roster before they take the field.), and when the Donks got publicly exposed for cheating & violating the salary cap later on, they had to scramble to save face. What part of that didn't you get?

4 playoff wins in five decades is really really sad. Especially while we were going to 10 Championship games, winning eight.... and 8 Super Bowls, winning 3.

My advice is get over the Broncos resentment from all those years and enjoy these glory years before they pass you by...........
.
You guys are so broken your coping mechanism is completely ignoring our success from the last 6 years and deflecting by bringing up the Elway years long ago.

Let’s take a more recent sample size. What have you guys done this century?

7-8 playoff record
1 SB win
2 SB appearances
5 division titles

Now the Chiefs

16-10 playoff record
3 SB wins
4 SB appearances
(Soon to be) 11 division titles

Also Chiefs lead H2H 27-21

We can see why you’re desperately clinging to more than 30 years ago

Kind of a weird record, but it's a hallmark of consistency.

And we were 1-19 vs. chiefs in AFL, Lamar (who was truly a great man) advised survival first for AFL franchises.
So you exclude the Chiefs best years (both early and recent) to try and say Denver is better Doesn't work that way junior.

Remember when it took a serious flu to break a 16 game losing streak to KC?

Mr. Owl, how many worthless ancient history Super Bowl losses does it take to equal a Super Bowl win?

As BlackOps said earlier -- it's the only legit SB trophy Elway has ever touched. And a quote from the You Tube video comment section:

You KNOW that Horseface Elway was expecting to give the Lombardi to Shanarat's son. Giving it to the Chiefs HAD to sting!
As for Larry Csonka, his Dolphin teams that won B2B SB's were pure class(unlike Elway's Donks) & they were GOOD.

Well that's EXACTLY how I felt when I first saw this thread... It's exactly like that crazy shack way out back. Pushing TWENTY MILLION views. You just keep hanging on and hanging on and hanging on to this obsession! The decisions were already made, years ago. But you just refuse to accept them
Of course you don't provide any context, since that would significantly weaken your argument.

A number out of context means little. This thread has a lot of views because it's the longest-running active thread (over 10 years). Why is it so active? Mostly because a certain validation-starved Bronco fan bumps it at every opportunity. His post count in this thread is around double that of any KC poster.

Sure, 19+ mil is an eye-popping number to someone used to low-traffic boards. If you look at the number of views of the "Chiefs Suck" thread at Huddle, you'll notice there's only one thread that's in the same galaxy. It has roughly 150x more views than the average thread on that board, and far and away the most responses.

Your fanbase's obsessive thread has spanned well over 10 years and two forums. But carry on.

Yes, it's very convenient. Imagine claiming the first four Super Bowls don't count.

Minor leagues....what an awful comparison. So a minor league team blew out a major league team in 1970?

Although, after watching the Broncos suck like nobody's business for almost two decades, followed by four disgusting blowouts in the big game, I can see why you might view the AFL/AFC as the minor leagues.

Is it any coincidence that when the AFC became good, the Broncos went the way of the buffalo?

Imagine whining because a few rival fans won't acknowledge the legitimacy of Super Bowls won with the help of cheating, while in the same breath telling them that Super Bowls 1 and 4 don't count.

"The NFL and every other football fan on the planet might recognize those games and stats.... but I don't!"

What's really sad is continuing to blather about an arbitrary timeframe that removes the first and last decades of each franchise's history.

I assure you...fans of the current NFL dynasty aren't envious of 45-point losses in the SB when the AFC was garbage. The Broncos were the tallest midget for a few years. Yippee!

Your fans can never seem to answer this question: If the Broncos were on top of the world for almost 50 years, while KC was "really, really sad," how did KC surpass Denver in almost every category in just a few short years?
