Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

After getting the right batteries for it, I started checking it out. It didn't work at first, but after brushing off the battery leads a bit, it lit right up! It looks like someone left an old battery in too long and it corroded, but they didn't put much effort into getting it working again.

Now I have a decision to make...do I keep/use it, or sell it and put the money towards something newer? I think I'll mount it and try it out.
So I made a listing on Facebook marketplace and they denied it twice saying it was a weapon or explosive

Had my nephew in town for the weekend, while my sister was away at a wedding. Beautiful weather, so I took him out to shot some guns he'd never got to experience before.

Raise em right...

I just learned Paul Harrell had passed from a long battle with pancreatic cancer. I am sure most of you here are familiar with him and his youtube videos. The man was a wealth of knowledge. RIP Paul!

That’s sad to hear. One of the few YouTube gun guys that was actually legit and not some ignoramus. RIP.

Yeah, saw his farewell video the other day. Tough loss. He was a good one. He said that his brother (iirc) is going to continue to produce content for their channel.

Well, I just learned it from you. That totally sucks.

You know YouTube has been sucking the life out of firearm channels. I assume you all have seen that Hickock45 has had to change drastically. I do not understand why these platforms have to get into the political stuff and really lose viewership. Just stupid.

Lets talk hearing protection.

I've got a couple pair of ear muffs for hearing protection but I've been looking at these:

https://goaxil.com/pages/gsextreme?u...TSvuuz#product

Less bulky and I like that you don't have to take them out to have a conversation, plus they are Blue Tooth compatible so I can listen to my metal music while shredding targets.

Anyone have experience with these? Other brands?
And try out ^these^.
I must say I'm very pleased with both.
First the .44 Mag. I was on paper at about 20 yards but I was pulling most shots low and left, I caught myself anticipating recoil because that thing will sting your hand with each shot. I was able to hit dead center with a few shots so I think the gun is zeroed well enough, I just have some work to do on grip and not anticipating recoil.
Next the Axil ear buds were awesome. I could plainly hear everything going on around me and even heard the shots fired but not the initial report, I think I was hearing the echo off the trees. Only complaint I would have is if you're shooting or hunting when it's windy all you'll hear is wind noise. But other than that one complaint, they ****ing rock.

That's awesome.

From the pics it looks like he shoots pistols left handed but rifles right.
