Diontae has to be on their radar because he already was on Veach's radar before.

Cooper is also a no-brainer call.

Because if JuJu's knee can hold up to back to back games okay, or at least can be managed, we might just have a possession guy that can do the job if you lean heavier into Kelce than you wanted to and if you complement it with an all-levels guy.

So at that point, instead of looking at Cooper or Slayton, you look harder at Johnson and Kirk.

I'm not saying JJSS is an answer - the mere possibility he might be some sort of regular contributor is absolutely stunning to me - but I'm saying he could change the question somewhat.
Agree but man this year is ours for the taking. It’s not like last season. Ravens, Bengals and Bills have all taken massive steps back and Houston looks good, but not great, and have big problems in their secondary.

With extra assets I think we gotta push here. If you can get a quality WR you gotta get ‘em. Don’t trust Juju’s knee or 35 year old Kelce. Take the load off those guys, get your guy and go for it.

Telling ya man. Rush defense is elite, they’re top 5 in QB hits & pressures, they’re 1st in the NFL in rushing success and their OL is top 10.

They get another decent weapon and they’re cruising to New Orleans (assuming no other major injuries occur).

Cooper should be the top target… he gives the Chiefs a legit #1 WR.

If you could get Vegas to take the money, I'd go with our 2nd for Adams.

So, I just read we're looking at Rice being out a minimum of 4 months?

Just ouch.

Well, now it's imperative that Andy/Veach find and trade for a WR or two, yes? Ftr, I think we need to find two, in case any other Wr gets hurt before Jan.

If Veach could get Davis to agree to any deal that gets us Davante, he should immediately shave off the front of is bowl cut, and have "cuck" tattooed to his forehead in bright red-and-gold letters.

Why does it matter?

We won a SB in their stadium! There can't be a greater emasculation than that apart from beating them head to head in the playoffs.

And they're not racing us right now. I don't even know who they're after, but it ain't us. So if you can set yourself up better going forward AND simultaneously take away our draft capital, why wouldn't you?

If we make the best offer and they don't take it because "we won't deal with KC" then Davis should shave off the front of his bowl cut and have "Dipshit" tattooed to his forehead in silver and black.

That said, we're not gonna make the best offer. If for no other reason than we MIGHT be willing to offer a similar package to other teams but only if the Raiders take on money. Many teams in this hunt won't care if they do that.

Nick Wright made this point as well. NOW is exactly the time they should deal with us.

And that right there is probably the biggest reason LVR shouldn't trade Davante to us. Because we probably can't make anything close to the best offer. But I still think if they did trade Adams to us (for less than what they could've gotten), and then we win the SB, it'd be a pretty bad "cuck" look for Davis. Ymmv.

The Raiders will cut Adam’s next season. I understand the whole you don’t help teams in your division BS but the Raiders need to just take the best deal and trust me, when they have our pick or picks I. The next draft it will be painful, and worse if we don’t win it all.

I also think the Broncos being ahead of the Chargers and Raiders help. It’s not like there will be an easy road to the playoffs in the AFC west.

Elway walking through a gauntlet of Chiefs to hand KC its fourth Lombardi comes pretty close.
