Crab Mac and cheese. Brussel sprouts aren't exciting so no picture of those.

I ate a few Burger King cheeseburgers at Walmart after picking up a few toiletry items.
It had been at least 5-6 years but damn they tasted good. Much, much better than McDonalds.

Thanks, they were great. Brined them and then cooked them over charcoal with a chunk of pecan. Costco ran a sale here like a month ago. These suckers were about 2.5" thick and ended up costing me like $1.20/lb. Think I bought 10 lbs worth and stocked the freezer.

I did something similar. They had pork loins on sale at the store, so I bought a couple, cut one into 2-inch chops, seasoned three different ways, vacuum packed and frozen. Going to sous vide and grill some of those next week. The other loin is just vac-packed frozen. Chops and possibly a half loin roast ready-to-go for the next 6-9 months. Also bought 6 racks of ribs, did the sous vide thing; froze and now how ribs for a year. unless I eat them all in the next few months. |

No pics because it was too dark, but celebrated the sale of our condo with a baked rigatoni w/ veal meatballs and too many martinis from a neighborhood joint we like.
Doing burgers on the grill later today and stress eating about finding a new place to live. |

Got a jump start on Irish Dinner, since I already found the stuff at seasonal prices.
First time in an instant pot. Almost too easy. You mean, just dump the stuff in and push a button? . . . . . AND?!?!?! Aside from the pause to depressurize after the meat was cooked, to put in the veggies for the last bit, almost no work at all. And the instant pot had more capacity than my pressure cooker, so wasn't even a chore to pack all the veg in. 4# corned beef 6 medium red potato [about 1-1/4#] 1 medium yellow onion 1# baby carrot 1 head cabbage
