Let's Talk About the Eagles (Super Bowl 59 Discussion)

We're headed back to the Ship and will try to be the first team to 3-peat in Super Bowl history!!! Chiefs open up as 1.5 favorites over the Eagles.

Discuss.

Man, can you imagine someone with game-breaking speed like Henderson to throw into those RPOs?

LBs in conflict with Kareem Hunt means the Chiefs gain 6-8 yards if everything goes wrong for Philly. You put a genuine top 12 RB on this roster and suddenly that 8 yard gain becomes 40.

If I'm the LBs I cheat pass on the RPO looks and force them to beat me with the ground game. And if I'm KC, my answer might just be to give Pacheco some early carries on the RPOs to see if he can pop one for 20-30 yards and give them something to think about there.
Yeah, I keep going back and forth on this. If I could bring back one Chief legend into this offense, would I take Tyreek Hill or Jamaal Charles?

Jeanty, Hampton, Johnson, and those 2 aren't all going in the first 50 picks. You do this every single year

This RB class is ****ing loaded. Somebody is going to fall outside of the top 50 and probably even all the way to 63/64.

Willie Roaf to massively upgrade two spots on the OL.

Then, I’d go Tyreek.

Then Jamaal.

Then probably Gonzalez as TE2. That tandem would be insane.

I'm pretty sure the New Orleans stadium is turf.
Unless this is another Arizona situation where they're bringing in new experimental grass that we don't know about.

Roaf is a good first choice. I was thinking skill positions.

The offense was dynamite with Tyreek but we've never seen Mahomes with a speedster at RB. Especially a good receiving back like Jamaal was who could run deeper routes if need be.

He wouldn't be my first choice, or even 5th, but it's fun to think about 12 personel with Kelce and Tony G.

Jamaal would upgrade RB more than Hill would upgrade WR.

I just can’t get past having a quartet of Hill, Worthy, Brown, Hopkins/Juju out there.

The Chiefs passing game was so damn good when Watkins was rarely healthy to go with Hill. I could only imagine it with guys like Worthy and Brown.

The Chiefs very much have a type for DL so you can literally go through and start making guys off narrowing that down a bunch.

Pretty sure Run is referring more to the DT group, and there are a ton of guys that would fit whether it be one DT spot or another.

No way in hell would I use a first rd pick on Hampton, Judkins or Johnson.

TreVeyon Henderson is far and away the best fit for this offense so he’s the only one I would take at 32.

It is a deep RB class though and I think one of Johnson or Neal will be right there at 64 or 66.

I mean the dude was a TD machine in the red zone. You could throw into coverage and he'd take the ball away from defenders. And he was a great blocker.

I'd take Roaf, Charles, and Hill over him for offensive players to bring back but only because we have more need at those positions.

Yeah, I rewatched highlights recently of the early playoff runs with Mahomes and forgot just how many big plays Watkins made (besides just the long TD against the Titans). Too bad he couldn't stay healthy long in his career.

I'd not take a RB in the first....I'd take another WR though.
