I've heard great things about pits lately from their owners...seems there is no grey area and it all depends on how they are raised...if raised right, the BEST dogs, if raised wrong, the most unpredictable, VIOLENT dogs.
Cute dog. |

We have lost 3 dogs in the last 3 years, one from old age, one from a physical defect and one from an accident. I just cant bring myself to get attached to another pet.

I've lost four kitties in the last two years. I know exactly how you feel. Lost two to disease, two to old age. Each loss was horrible and really heartbreaking. Especially this most recent one. It gonna take me a long time. I'll never really get over it.

We lost one of our two cats earlier in 2014, a calico named Patches.
Our other cat is an English Shorthair, that looks a lot like KCUnited's cat. He has never met a person or animal that is not his friend from the instant they meet. He has a great personality, and is legendary among the cdcox cats. We have a two cat rule in our house (never more, seldom fewer), and so my daughter picked out a 5 year old tortoise shell originally named "Butters" who has been renamed "Stella", but I just call her cat. She has adopted me. When my daughter eventually moves out, I may not let her take cat with her. I really like this cat. |

Meesh Meesh the cat has been missing Mama Cat very much. Mama Cat passed a couple weeks ago. He's been sleeping in the big overstuffed chair where Mama Cat spent her last days with us. It's very sad, they were buddies for a long long time. I miss her too.

Jesus...dude.
- 3 month old puppy muscular as shit - Long stringy wirey tail - Border collie tail = long extremely bushy, Cattle dog = no tail - Obvious pit face Shelter people know if they can put anything other than "pit" the dog's chances of adoption goes up 1000% (with very good reason). Source = thousands of volunteer hours at shelters. Not trolling you dude, congrats on the dog and she's cute. However, you have a significant portion of pit there and all the traits that come with it. Train the shit out of that dog and you will have to go above and beyond regarding socializing with people (especially kids) and other dogs. Make sure you let that dog know you are the boss and be consistent with your boundaries. Much easier to pull them down by the scruff of their neck and put them on their back at 30lbs than 60.
