Nobody knows what this offense looks like, at this point, with Brown back in the mix...so how do you design a defensive scheme against it?

It'll be interesting if KC lights it up on Sunday...or is still the prodding under-30 point team we've been watching.
Last year besides Kelce we had a rookie Rice with a very limited route tree and MVS against the stacked Baltimore D.

The year before that we had Mahomes on one leg with MVS as the main WR against the Bengals.

3 years ago was the last time we stepped into an AFC Championship game with actual firepower on offense.

This year we have the guys but have barely used them yet.

Huge mystery box about to be opened.....

Yeah..the Houston game played out weird to me. Zero catches by Hopkins and Brown doesn't track unless it's Alex Smith.

It seemed like the Chiefs thought they could win with a conservative approach..and weren't going to veer from that unless they had to.

If that WAS the 2024/25 KC post-season offense last Saturday...then something is broken.

Andy did show glimpses of opening the playbook. The problem was it was so hard. Had to use max protect with 7 blockers on this one.

Also goddamn Worthy stop the route bro. All by yourself in the middle of the field. That’s what makes Kelce so good. He feels that open space and improvises to get open.

Worthy will get there

Mahomes deep ball accuracy has been on target going back to the ball thrown to Watson against Pittsburgh.

Holy shit will the DOOMING never stop?

7.1 yards per pass.

4.3 yards per rush.

Scored on 5 of 7 drives.

0 turnovers.

VS an elite defense

Just STOP IT you ****ing reeruns. We're about to threepeat. NOTHING is broken or even close to it.

I noticed this too since maybe even before that game. His deep ball accuracy seems to have ticked up a notch. Shame that Brown couldn't hold on to that ball. That actually could have changed some other calls in the game.

I'm not dooming...I just posted that I expect the offense to look like the Steelers' game...which was the best it's looked all year.

I'm of the belief that KC has been rope-a doping it's way thru the season...this week's game will show if I've been unrealistically expecting them to turn it on...when it actually matters.

This one is for the marbles...if Brown/Hopkins have 0 catches again...there is no turning it on. This team is what it's been all year...

Wow it's almost like playing an elite defense and not a dogshit one makes a difference.

There are no style points anymore. The Chiefs won 23-12. They didn't need more points.

I can remember one time. DT sacked Dave Kreig 7 times in a game. I'm pretty sure that there was at least one more sack that day. Seattle still won

Crazy you can get 7 sacks and lose. Was DT considered a liability in the run game?

You know who’s been great at style points the last two years?

The Lions and the Ravens. Both teams were even good for one 56-14 like win where the looked oh so unstoppable running up the score in a December tune up.

Defense is so much harder for your average fan to quantify...scoring 56 points mean you're the "bestest' team.

KC was 15-1...and the same people believe they are only lucky...actually 22-1 (Denver game doesnt count).

No, but you are.

There was no reason to expect a repeat of the Pittsburgh game.

We turned in an acceptable performance. That wasn't an offensive shit show out there.
