Ah, so this is just a Dick measuring contest. Carry on then, chaps. BTW, if he is a waiter, he probably can make some decent money. I've seen a couple of people rake in 200 dollars on a 5 hour shift. Just depends on how much he reports in tips.

I know how chain restaurants work...

this is a different beast

(although I did clear $50K at a BENNIGANS in Chicago when I was 22...claiming 75% of my tips or so)...

people don't realize that good servers can make a good wage (especially in high volume stores)...

but you can only last so long in a chain restaurant without going insane

And I was talking to the office administrator last week, and she mentioned that we didn't have nearly enough drunken, quasi-literate punks on the staff. Apparently, they're in high demand.
