LOL, the numpty correlating the number of quotes I have to deride my opinion. Patrick now has thrown a career high interceptions in a season with two games left. His average yards per attempt, air yards per attempt, yards per catch, average yards per game, net yards per attempt are all the lowest of his entire career. His QBR is the lowest it’s ever been. He’s on pace to be sacked the most times in a season too. Is this what you expect/want out of your QB heading into year 1 of his prime years? None of this is his fault mind you, he’s been relegated to play like Alex Smith due to the piss poor personnel management by the higher ups. Now, go back to being a bottom.

Hopefully the we don’t need WR’s club won’t be as annoying this offseason.

MVS over 15 games this season has 20 receptions for 312 yards and 1 TD. With Patrick Mahomes as his QB...

Yeah, it is, because that QB sucks just as bad as the WR in that video and that was unfortunately the case yesterday.

This is def accurate this year for him. He really cannot even hit the most wide open guys even if that happens seldomly.

I don't know why people are struggling to admit that Pat himself is having the worst year of his career and it's NOT just his WR's fault.

The edges can't protect well no, but the times Pat does have time his throws are beyond off. Like not even in the same vicinity as the WR.

Well if you watch the WR in that clip, he's running around like a jitterbug and diving the wrong way to catch balls, which I also think is accurate.

We are grading Patrick on an absurd scale which is why there is pushback to takes like this.

Coming into yesterday’s game, he still had the 7th highest rated EPA of any quarterback in the NFL. Before Patrick, we would have done anything to have a Top 10 QB year in and and year out. Now, we equate having a QB outside of the Top 5 as “not being able to hit the broadside of a barn.”

He’s off, and having the worst year of his career, but I think it’s important to add overall context to where he is within QB play in the NFL.

No one is struggling to admit this is his worst year.

All I have said is that give him real NFL WR's that run routes properly, get open and catch the ball and Mahomes and the tackles both look way better.

The WR's are so bad that they are destroying the offense.

And with Kelce aging out what worked 2 years ago isn't what will work next year.

They need real playmakers.

Not guys so bad that Raider scrubs trash talk our team before the game or Bills defense that doesn't play man does so against us.

Because everything you’re pointing to is the worst parts of hesitation and pressing. And now it’s pure frustration. And can’t blame him for doing either. If we had bad WRs who could consistently execute the basics that would be one thing. But how can you blame him when you have WRs who can’t make an assisted slam dunk? That touch of hesitation is enough to change throwing a guy open to a contested catch.

The problem is when mahomes does all the things we say he should the WRs don’t just screw up, they lose games for us. So it’s not as simple as just asking him to execute.

Mahomes, just like a lot of our coaches, need a clean slate where they at bare minimum WRs who can do elementary school shit. Then we can see what’s what.

Exactly the case. Instead of fixing the problem throughout the season, everything has gotten worse, including Mahomes, and the offense has morphed into a mess that is the sum of its broken parts. We were told it was a process. It was, and that process involved incompetence at just about every level, especially the WR's, and it evolved into what we see now.

It shouldn't be. Even the most ardent of goof troopers should have learned that lesson this season.
