Andy Reid is a terrible head football coach

Andy Reid got depantsed in the Super Bowl by Bruce Arians.

Bruce ****ing Arians and Tom ****ing Brady.

Well, you see, Andy Reid is an offensive genius, and how dare we question Andy Reid's genius in not running the ball and not utilizing the screen pass in the face of an epically brutal pass rush, a patchwork offensive line and a QB with a hurt toe?

How dare we question his geniusness?

Does anyone else think it is odd that a guy who believes that the NFL is rigged and the outcomes predetermined like professional wrestling is so concerned about the HC? Does Rabble not realize that if the league is fixed as he thinks then the HC makes no difference at all?

Sparked a modicum of interest when the dichotomy raised its head years ago. Now it's 'rabble gonna rabble.'

Chiefs' Andy Reid voted Sporting News Coach of the Year for third time

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news...m1vx9gbh1mbpk5

Andy Reid is back on top of the NFL coaching heap for the first time in 14 seasons. Reid, in a close race over several strong contenders, was voted Sporting News Coach of the Year for his work with the Chiefs in 2016.

Reid is the sixth three-time winner of SN's award, which has been handed out since 1947. He joins Mike Smith, Joe Gibbs, Chuck Knox, Don Shula and Paul Brown. Reid also follows Knox (Rams, Seahawks) and Shula (Colts, Dolphins) in winning with multiple teams.

Although Kansas City had gone 31-17 in Reid's first three seasons, making the playoffs twice as a wild card, he got his team to take it up a notch in 2016 with a 12-4 record and its first AFC West division title since 2010. Reid won Coach of the Year in Philadelphia twice, but the last came in '02.

Jason Garrett (Cowboys), Jack Del Rio (Raiders) and Dan Quinn (Falcons) got several votes for leading turnaround playoff seasons. Bill Belichick came close to breaking his nine-year drought and becoming a three-time winner with the Patriots, but ultimately, Reid got the most respect from a panel of his peers.

There are few nicer guys in the NFL than Reid. Those who focus too much on him being "too conservative" discount how his steady style is the reason the Chiefs have quickly developed into a consistent winner under him.

Consider that Kansas City had strong competition from both Oakland and Denver in the West, and it swept both teams to take the division. Although the season ended in a home playoff loss to Pittsburgh in the divisional round, over the past two years, Reid's Chiefs have won 23 of their past 28 games.

The Chiefs had to deal with some key injuries on both sides of the ball, including Jamaal Charles, Jeremy Maclin, Justin Houston and Derrick Johnson. They had to lean on more younger players such as rookies Tyreek Hill and Chris Jones to improve on their 2015 record. Reid also had to do all that after seeing his offensive coordinator, Doug Pederson, leave to take the Eagles job he once had.

Kansas City was a Reid team through and through in '16, with stability and strong production from offense, defense and special teams. It's a compliment to put him in the same breath as Chiefs coaching great Marty Schottenheimer, not a detriment.

Although Garrett, Del Rio, Quinn and Belichick could boast great seasons, Reid had long deserved another one for his career resurgence in Kansas City. As he turns only 59 in March, Reid has plenty of time to deliver a few bigger wins for the Chiefs.

Participation trophies suck.

The comparison to Marty is a good one; both had a thing for cast off 49ers quarterbacks.

WooHoo! The Chiefs won the division because the Carr got hurt.

Chiefs, the shampoo of losers. Lather, rinse and repeat.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Are we even sure that the Chiefs could have beaten the Texans if Carr hadn't gone down? If Carr was still healthy.....we weren't getting that #2 seed. And I'm not so sure that the Texans would have rolled over.

I'm not saying Pitt was the better team but we matched up much better with the Pats than Pitt.

The only thing that matters is they played Pitt. If you hold a team out of the end zone you really should win the game. Alex and company probably left 20 points on the field

Bullshit.. If ****-face Hunt wasn't afraid he would have told Andy that he's giving up being the actual OC, clock manager, and play-caller; told Alex to grow a pair (and he's on a short leash), and after that last game he would have at least made some public statement to indicate he was going to question all the non-holds.

He's a pussy and a gutless coward! **** him! He needs to sell and let a real owner, one with balls, take over.

Your Clark Hunt hatred is really beyond unhealthy and really just silly.

You may want to get some meds dude.

I fail to see Clark's responsibility in 40 years of failure.

He has pretty much done everything you would ask an owner to do since taking over.

I think people have a seriously uninformed concept on what owners in the NFL actually are responsible for.

He's literally allowed the same things to happen that has held this team back for decades.
